Missing players abilities

Is it common when you go to lineup to activate abilities in lineup on  players  some don't show up? I never had this problem before but noticed I was missing ap and the players I put abilities on didn't show up in chart?

Sort by pressing L2 or R2. I just had this happen to me and hitting R2 to change the sort filter had my player show up.
