What kind of logic must it take to determine that somehow YOU are the problem, or you're playing the game wrong, when all you did was state a simple fact. EA's sheer greed knows no bounds. They're obviously not even trying at this point, just slapping stupid band aids on left and right to their bad game and outdated Frostbite engine, oof.

I don't even know what to say at this point, my faith in humanity is as low as it's ever been. I still don't want to fault the often toxic community, i'll always blame EA, I'm forever confused how so many in the community manage to arrive at these type conclusions. Double OOF. Embarrassing.

This game finds ways to bring the worst out of someone, me included. I wonder if the revenue from NCAA will satisfy EA's greed or will it leave them wanting more.

My wife has heard numerous shouting matches, but no amount of me attempting to explain (to her) that it's not their fault, somehow EA manages to bring out the absolute worst in all of us. I wish i were able to constantly rise above, but i've struggled as much (if not more) than most seems to be sufficient to get my point across. It's been decades since I've wanted to smash video game controllers in fits of nerd-rage, but holy hell, it's become a fairly regular basis here. I try to finish every game with a simple "GG" to my opponent(s), otherwise i typically keep my mic off, but I'm not shy about ranting and raving if someone is having a bad day and needs to engage with someone.

I try to never make it personal, but had a dude this week who spent the ENTIRE second half of the game on the mic explaining that he was really amazing and obviously i must have kept getting "lucky" which is the only way I could beat him, heh. 31-14 final score, his comments were comical, because he heaves up a prayer on 3rd and 8 (in the 2nd quarter), only to have my defender tip the ball up in the air, which somehow dropped into his TE's hands (who was not the intended target), which he took for a huge gain to keep the drive going. His only other score was a terrible, Stevie Wonder style pick-six i tossed to start the game, oof. Dude should have finished with zero points, but i'm bad. Anyway, it's crazy how much people project their own shortcomings onto other folks.

Wish there were a better way. If i silence my audio I don't hear the clock sounds or QB audibles and such, which I've very much come to rely on, plus i'd rather hear what someone has to say. I'm not smart enough to simply silence the riff-raff.

According to their own Terms of Service, yes. Basically everything is "legal" according to EA and the only recourse you/we/anyone have would be to submit to the Binding Arbitration process, which basically means they choose who or what to do and we're basically screwed, our hands are tied. Good luck pushing back on a multi-billion dollar corporation, i don't have the resources, but maybe we can crowd fund something. Anyone know a good attorney (or team of lawyers)?

I've only played MUT for 3 years and this was my first time starting on release. It was an eye opener seeing the money grabbing happen in real time.

Right on, this was also my first time starting from day 1 release, i was pumped having knocked out all 33 Rookie Premier sets last year, i took time off from wr0k, was prepared to settle into that three day pre-release window and then have a long weekend to jam out with our juiced up ~84 OVR squads, before abilities came and wrecked the entire game. Well, i was in for a rude awakening, as EA took forever to roll out the RP shit we invested so much time and resources into. I figured with that much of a head start, i'd be able to earn and work the AH so i didn't have to spend a dime on the game all year, HA.

I've since been banned from the auction house (twice) for "coin distribution" despite never having bought, nor sold coins, nor done anything sketchy. I was forced to waste most of my MUT Points on a bullshit starter squad, because EA took 2-3+ weeks to give us what we had earned, just one mess after another. I fully expected intense levels of sheer greed, but seeing how lazy and pathetic they've become, not even pretending to try at this point, well... let's hope i'm not buying yet another copy of Madden next year.

I've tried NFL Pro Era on PSVR2, i'm an absolute sucker for anything branded with 49ers or Star Wars content, sadly, both franchises have been destroyed in the modern era and it's become exceedingly difficult to continue to care. No amount of knowledge or understanding could ever truly prepare us for how bad things have gotten. I'm constantly amazed how many in the community will make excuses EA's bad behavior. The only thing i can think to compare it to at this point would be a battered housewife, stuck in a dead end relationship. We're beaten down week after week, yet somehow we've gotta pretend that "Shiny new Eli is a good card people, because ______ look, look!" in order to live with these terrible decisions. I don't wanna use Bo Jackson QB forever either, but he's objectively the best in the game, at a bunch of positions, uggh.
