Ive been using the KC Chiefs Super Bowl Defensive Playbook because it has a relatively broad spectrum of Formations to use. Theres some games where I am getting 3-5 Interceptions, but there’s far more games of me getting aired out completely.
Almost every YouTube guide or comprehensive breakdown I’ve watched relies HEAVILY on doing several Pre-Snap Adjustments every single down. I understand to reach that next skill level in Madden, this approach is necessary but I’d like to try and find a method that is maybe a little less spammy, rushed and inefficient. Thanks ahead of time for your help!
That's where I'm at too right now. I have been trying to look for somewhere similar but without a bunch of adjustments there is always somewhere that is going to get exploited whether it is RPOs or Corner Routes
I use a dollar (db fire) setup and put my two outside CBs on 30-yard hard flats and my slot corners on 5 or 10-yard curl flats. As long as you have dz ko on your outside CBs and safeties and mid-zone/flat zone on your slots you can easily lock up on d. Just make sure your linebackers have lurk and midzone. If you want to stop the run, put your weak-side linebacker and slot corner on a blitz.
my favorite right now, is regular nickel formation cover 3 sky. take your safety on the deep middle zone and bring him down to 7 yards to whichever side has the most people. then user the linebacker 1 player over from that safety. This defense is clamps. you can also pinch ur lines and slant them in if you want to as well and play with different fake pressure looks glitch out the o line and create disengage blocks. If you start getting gouged by the run. switch to a 46 and run the same play same adjustments just dont pinch the dline. saints playbook has all of it
