Been playing a lot of madden recently and I’ve been experimenting with different play books and currently I use Alt Pistol on O and Alt 46 on D but I mainly play nickel. I have 870k and I don’t know if I should buy upgrades or just keep building my stack.

I'd buy 96 Rob Haventstein RT to get 0AP Secure Protector. I'd sell Jesse Bates and get Justin Simmons. Maybe buy RE Aiden Hutchison 96. Other than that save coins for GT or draft promo
This is an exremely small upgrade and not really what you were asking, but...........
you might as well change Kevin Mawae, Ronde Barber, Micah Parsons, Chop Robinson, and John Madden all to Steelers chemistry.
Theres no reason not to and it'll give them a +1 stat boost
