I completely agree with this. I finally made the move and took off all D Line X Factors and run them all on CBs/safety. My D is sooo much better against the top comp players even though my QB pressures are significantly worse. It frees up so much AP for way more abilities. Being able to run deep out/flat/pick artist on both outside CBs, mid zone/flat/pick artist on both slot CBs, plus deep out, pick, and mid on both safeties, AND mid zone/pick on sub LB safetys is a game changer. You’re going to beat low level comp either way but you WILL start winning sweaty games and cause way more turnovers and we all know 1 or 2 picks and it’s over in H2H. That’s the move going forward y’all.
i run 3 universals on byard, jaire, and howley. its absurd cause universal is the best defensive ability in the game, all knockouts plus one step ahead? all 3 for 1 AP.
I might be willing to go two CBs one DLine I already run One Step Ahead on Williamson and am very happy with it but AD goes crazy on my line and so I equip Orakpo too for good measure but Nnamdi has been good without the X Factor he might only get better if I take it off orakpo and put it on nnamdi

Nnamdi has been unreal for me with UC. I was actually shocked how much pressure LT and Donald have gotten for me without X-Factors. I was expecting pass rush to be non-existent without my Colussus and Unstoppable Force, but they have done just fine.

Since when does universal coverage include one step ahead? O.o
