I think the Madden MLB is the best user in the game.

Assuming you're using a LB as a user, the conversation revolves around Hendricks, Simmons, Warner, Willis, and Madden. Here's the case for each:

1. Hendricks - great speed and height, but abilities suck and gets pancaked on the reg.
2. Warner - great ability stack with lurk/MZKO for 0ap, but speed is a problem
3. Willis - good speed, solid abilities with the lurk/MZKO stack for 1ap, height is meh at 6'1".
4. Simmons - good speed, abilities are meh as you can't get lurk/MZKO discounted together, height is really good at 6'4"
5. Madden - good speed, solid abilities with the lurk/MZKO stack for 1ap, height is really good at 6'4"

I have every player on this list aside from Warner on my team as part of a 25/25 Combine, 25/25 Raiders TT so know the cards well. I use Willis and Madden as my SLBs with Hendricks only seeing the field in 4-3 61. Simmons is there for TT and motivator chem purposes.

I think it's time to put some respect on Madden's name. What are your thoughts?

im personally using Willis, and i have to disagree. While he might be on the shorter side, he gets crazy animations for me. It might just be that i got lucky, but with avalanche, MZKO/lurk artist, it’s really a combo I can’t pass up. While I dont have really much or a say since I haven’t used madden, I still think Willis will be my user for a while.

CoD is everything on a user and his is too low. Sucks because John Madden is awesome and we can't even use him

I like him better off ball because of his 99 play rec. I prefer the heavier users tho. I'm used to having to maneuver the tonka trucks from guarding point guards with my power forward on 2k lol.

Honestly I’m not sure. I’m usering Derek carr rn and don’t really need an upgrade

Do you always blitz your user so he can move freely?

If you do then MZKO is wasting AP.

My user changes based on the offense so I will normally user at least 5 different players throughout a H2H game. If I had to pick just 1 user, he isn’t on your list. Bo Jackson ROLB gets LA & Secure Tackler for a total of 0AP.  That’s who I would prefer, fast, mobile, LA & ST, and the dude jumps 10 feet in the air.

For a free card he is Definetly nice. Better options if you spend coins though.

I put dual threat on him and is arguable the best defensive player I have used all year. The 1 ap is justified as he literally can do it all after nine plays lol.

I haven’t tried Dual Threat but he’s still made a bunch of plays for me so far. I still need to play a lot more H2H’s to figure out the best way to spend my AP’s.

I have im subbed in at mlb with dual threat and he still the best user in the game, as he knocks out everything thing and is fantastic on a gap blitzes. It is always funny when I watch my LB bo chase down and sack my opponents qb bo, as you need Bo to stop Bo lol.

I’ve heard a lot of people say that blitzing ur user wastes mzko but I blitz my user every play and I still get the mzko animations. Have you personally tried it or just going off what others have said? im curious

spoiler: you should blitz your user... you can see if it's run/rpo or pass in nickel and dollar. The angle gives it away...
