Sleepers- We will be identifying 3 types of sleepers- Early round value, mid round demon, and deep sleeper.
QB-
Early round value- Michael Penix. Penix is falling down draft boards due to his injury history, but he has a very high ceiling. Barring injuries, Penix is a very accurate qb with underrated mobiltiy. He has a lot of experience and just made the national championship
Mid round demon- Michael Pratt. The Tulane QB has very good accuracy and is an experienced qb. I personally never sleep on smaller school qbs, because talent is talent. This kid has a ton of it.
Deep Sleeper- Cartler Bradley. Yet another small school standout, this one hails from South Alabama. He was a Senior Bowl standout, and I overall really like his mechanics and pocket presence.
RB
Early Round Value- N/A
Mid round demon- Trey Benson. This kid has an incredible highlight reel, and an immense ceiling. He has great athleticism and bounces off lots of tackles. This is what you are looking for in a mid round pick
Deep Sleeper- Will Shipley. Will is a great pass catcher and route runner, and holds very good value as a rotational back. He should see good playing time in 2024.
WR
Early round value- Malik Nabers- Malik would be a wr1 in any other class in the 2000s. This kid is an incredible route runner and very underrated speed. He just happens to be in the same class with a generational prospect in Marvin Harrison.
Mid round demon- Malachi Corley- Go and watch this kids highlights. He is the next coming of Deebo Samuel. He is incredible after the catch, with tacklers falling off of him left and right.
Deep Sleeper- Ryan Flourney- This dude is a crazy talented player getting no press due to the small school he attended. He has great size for a wr with very good physicality and route running. Do not sleep on this man.
TE
Early round value- Brock Bowers- He would be picked so much higher if this was not such a loaded draft class. His elite athleticism and after the catch ability helped to carry a top 5 team.
Mid round demon- N/A
Deep Sleeper- Brevyn Spann-Ford- This 6 foot 7 monster is a raw athletic talent that could be coached into a startable tight end. His frame allows him to be naturally better at blocking, and his athleticism should not be slept on.
That is it! Let me know if y'all want a defensive verison next!
