Coffee table is a must. Sometimes when you’re feeling informal and just want to eat a low-key dinner night of Chinese but you’re too lazy to clean off the kitchen table, the living room coffee table is as good as gold for chow.

Pool tables followed by the periodic table of elements as honorary mention.
