Is 99 speed necessary for WR and DB rn?

multiple budget options can only reach 98 speed but their abilities are great. I was wondering if the disadvantage of running 98 speed players against 99 speed is negligible.

You can still be very competitive using 98 speed players especially if they have good abilities. A difference of 1 speed isn't that big of a deal. It would be a different story if you were talking about using bunch of 90 speed

Only a problem if you intend on man blitzing, pressing, and leaving literally no one overtop.
