We're getting late in the year, my team was kinda end game, and I already had the three other LOB cards. So I said eff it. Am I a fool to do this right before golden tickets?
Am I a fool?
You'll be a fool if you don't sell Kam before his price drops. Have fun using him for a day or so but definitely sell if you can get profit before GTs
We're both fools then.
No gts wont be anywhere near as good as any of the current akas.UNLESS ea changes things.

This was exactly my thought. I was thinking that the only way to make a S/SLB card better would be height but he's still 6'3".
My current lineup is:
DL - Irvin aka LOB, Donald Tribute (momentum shift), Mean Joe, Watt ROH
LB - Brooks UL, Bam Bam Kam aka LOB
CB - Sherman aka LOB, Nnamdi RD (universal coverage), Harris Jr aka
S - Troy P ROH, Woolen Combine (universal coverage)
spending 4 mil on a player is never worth it
but because it’s the end of the year it’s not a big deal
None of the gts will have built in xfactors or any aka xfactors if history follows. Not sure if they mentioned it on stream or not. That alone makes kam the best ss until ea drops a bunch of cards with 3 discount buckets and built in passive xfactors. If thats the case the game will be 95% dead.
I had about 15 mil and felt like a fool buying him…not to say he’s not a great card, because he is but I didn’t feel like I got much of an upgrade over Troy when I had him at safety. As a sub LB he was a decent upgrade but 4.5 was too rich for my blood. I had fun with him for a day and sold him
Supposedly people buying Winfield at 7m to make u feel better lol
I wouldn't do it but as long as you're happy with your decision it's fine by me
Its a game, as long as you're happy hell yea

Played a day with him at SLB and FS (opposite Troy). He's absolutely ridiculous on the field. Moves well and plays the run amazing. The 4/4 LOB boost to Irvin, Sherman, and Wagner really elevated the whole D.
That said, I sold him for a 900k profit this AM. I will definitely revisit when the card is in the high 2mn to low 3mn range. He's confidently an end game card.

I mean it suck’s to spend that much on one card regardless I get it, but at this point in the year it doesn’t really matter. Like others have said GTs won’t be better then kam with an on X factor and good abilities. Hes def end game. That said like someone else said if it makes you feel any better someone on Xbox bought 5’9” FS Antoine Winfield from the comp pass for 5,555,555 exactly so I’d say you got the better end Of the stick. Bam Bam Kam is always end game when he gets the gold 99 and it makes it that much better that it was an AKA card instead of an UL per se like last year. Smart to reap the benefit of a profit tho, he will eventually drop once people see the new shiny cards even tho he’ll probably be better then them anyways
Card sucks tbh
Only value is to Chem up Bobby wagner
5 fumbles 6 games is pretty good imo

This. I dont ever have the discipline to save up that much at once but thats me. Ive spent 2-2.5 a few times this year and can say even that prolly wasnt "worth it" but it's all preference and whats fun for you. 🤷♂️
