Best Theme Team To Run?

Me personally I’m running a Ravens theme team with some fillers because I’m a Ravens fan. But the Steelers theme team is pretty solid.

Steelers.  I am a strong 98 overall with 51/50 Steelers.  Haven't even started adding the new draft players.

There's an upcoming Theme Team promo around the corner (how soon, nobody knows); it might be worth waiting until it gets released to pull the trigger.  Then again, the game is dying soon enough, so maybe you go for it.  I'm a Packers TTer, which is a reasonably cheap way to get to 97 OVR+.

I‘m a full 50/50 Ravens theme team. Most of my fillers are the positions that the Ravens theme team isn’t the strongest at. I’m up to a 98 ovr as well.

The only reason I run a ravens theme team is because I’m a huge Ravens fan. But if I wasn’t I would definitely not run a ravens theme team they’re not very meta at all. It’s also the end of the year I’m not going to spend more money when I’m having fun running my Ravens theme team but to each their own.

Now thats a unique theme team. Are you considering switching to a full Seahawks theme team? I know that They’ve Gotten really good recently especially with the LOB AKA release.

Yeah I had when LOB came out I dropped 10 combine chems to get more Seahawks, I forgot I’m at only 19 Seahawks right now but should easily fill out to 25 tonight after grinding more Captains tokens and getting some filler backups

Nah I think I’m gonna stick to 25, I’d have to start dropping Combine Motivators to fill out more Hawks and like the Motivator boosts too much

ROS I’m just gonna be min maxing abilities, my personnel I’m really happy with and mostly just going to look out for sweet ability combos

Raiders are the highest ovr and have a lot of decent players on offense thanks to the Bos

I believe the objectively best theme teams are, in order:

1. Seattle Bitch-Pigeons (err... Seahawks)
2. Vegas Raiders (almost said Oakland, oof)
3. my beloved Scarlet & Gold - San Francisco 49ers

But don't just take my word for it, here's a video Chu dropped just yesterday discussing the topic.  It's so late in the year, we barely need the +2-3 speed on our skill position players, from my experience the 25/50 hybrid theme teams tend to make a bit more sense, granting us the +1 SPD to boost and hopefully max out many of these cards at the most important positions, but even then, i'm content using Dickerson at 98 SPD.  Doubt he plays that much better at 99.

I ran the 70/70 Superbowl + 25/50 49ers hybrid TT for well over 2+ months, only somewhat recently have I converted to 30/70 Superbowl and 30/50 49ers.  And definitely do not snooze on the 6/6 AKA Crews (i'm using "Y2K") which is quite possibly THE most popular theme team in the entire game, it only requires three cards to achieve that.

Honestly, do whatever sounds the most fun to YOU.  May, June and July Madden can be kind of wild.  Surely you'll need to factor in overall costs.  Depending upon the sheer number of LTDs for whatever theme team, that could become problematic real fast.  Best cards in position are millions of coins, while everything else is basically minimum price floor.  This is the worst EA has managed the market, at least in the short time i've been playing MUT.
