Just picked up 99 Bosa from the WW 99 free pack. Should I run 1 AP DON or EDE? Let me know what has worked best for you?

GREAT question. I went through the same dilemma just a few days ago, after i was finally able to build the Burrow set, then traded Joe in for Nicky Bosa. I honestly didn't feel liek ETE was all that impactful, despite having it on both JJ Watt and Bosa, my primary edge rushers. At the moment i'm back to running the 0AP stack on him, No Outsiders and Tackle Supreme and Nicky is excellent in run defense, but haven't seen as much production from his pass rush as i would have hoped.
Breaks my heart to admit this, but i may ultimately have to go back to using LT RoH off the edge. He only gets regular "Edge Threat" (non-elite). Ultimately, i'm not sure many of these truly matter, as almost everyone we play are going to have some type of Secure Protector on their O-line, which will often directly counter these pass rush abilities. Getting both ETE + DoN might be really cool, but if we are going to use Double or Nothing it requires extra effort (perhaps even subbing in/out D-line players) to properly manage your pass rush points in many instances. Kind of nice (if not essential) to have some other player on the D-line with the Defensive Rally ability, which will help ensure you're not stuck in a 3rd or 4th down situation and find out that some (or all) of your pass rushers are gassed, without any pass rush points.
They're not bad abilities, per se, but Secure Protector counters a lot. ETE felt a bit more impactful when everyone was still using Bo Jackson (QB) who didn't meet the minimum (90 TUP) threshold for Throw Under Pressure stat.
Use both DON and ETE on Bosa. Only 2 H2H games, but he looks great with both.
Echoing what’s been said above, I prefer ETE because DON requires PR point management. but honestly both abilities don’t trigger much at all with SP.
ETE might cause a bad throw or two per game, and 1 unblocked rush/game but eh.
i can afford the ap spent so m keeping ete on but it hasn’t been as effectivr as I’d hoped
If you can pair double or nothing with additional ability (for instance double or nothing paired with colusses on Orakpo for 1 ap, is better then ETE on for 1 ap) then it can be better then just ETE alone.
However if you can not pair Double or nothing with an additional ability for only 1 ap combined, the ETE is the way to go.
