Why Do So Many People Seem to Like the OOP Golden Tickets?

Whay do so many people seem to like the OOP Golden Tickets?

Rob Gronkowski does not have 99 Speed. If he were to play linebacker or defensive back he would get toasted in real life.

The same goes for Mean Joe Greene. He has no business being a 99 Speed Free Safety.

The fridge at QB with outrageous speed is also unrealistic.

I know I do not want to build a team of unrealistic OOP players, and I certainly do not want to play against someone using a 280 LB, 6'-6" tall linebacker that goes from the line of scrimmage to the deep defensive backfield faster than the fastest receivers in the game.

What’s worse, OOP cards, or people complaining about OOP cards? I know my vote.

Madden has always been an Arcade style game with some realism. 
 

99 speed tight ends aren’t realistic, no injuries, no proper penalties, field goals have no skill etc. 

think of it as what if. What if Gronk was a middle linebacker or Randy Moss was a CB. Supposed to bring fun to the game.

Thanks for your opinion! 

For those that spend money on buying players, I guess it could bring fun to their game. I enjoy opening packs and getting new players.

I am not looking forward to future game play against these players or future complaints about Peppers, Gronk, etc. and EA responding by nerfing some aspect of the game to appease the complaints and over-correct for unrealistic players.

After usering FS Haloti Ngata last year I get the hype. It adds a lil novelty and fun to a money hungry, rage inducing game.

I did have Good Morning Madden Julius Peppers., but I do not remember having Ngata last year.

Not sure if it's anything more complicated than it's fun to use players that are both fast and tall. Outside of OOP, it's rare for a player to be both. Tall players play well especially on defense where they can clog up passing lanes.

It's totally fine if you don't like OOP and how unrealistic they are. But it's also fine for people to enjoy unrealistic gameplay.

He had an OOP UL back when they had discounts and was one of the last golden ticket drops. I loved the card. Nothing was better than seeing a 350lb blob nose dive for acrobat interceptions.

We like them because they are great for TT's who do not get every single card in the game. For instance, the Lions will never get an OLB as good as Calvin, so that card is a massive W for those who run a lions TT.

OOP cards are fun……my favorite was backyard ballers with the brothers chems and them all trading off positions between each other

Although I doubt this reason doesn't factor into most GT winners decision. Keep in mind they do get a free card of the player they make. So would you make a card that'll sell for 500K or 3M +?
