Im EA pissed right now. Just played my ass off in a mut champs game. End of the 4th of a game where we really went back and forth scoring, because for some reason my flat zones ignore runningback flat routes. tied game, he gets down to the 1, throws a pick to me. I PICK IT OUT OF THE BACK OF THE ENDZONE AND BAM BAM KAM RUNS IT OUT AUTOMATICALLY NO MATTER HOW MANY BUTTONS I SPAMMED. GETS DOWNED AT THE 1, SAFETY, I LOSE. I don’t care about “skill issue” is there any possible way to NOT have my dumbass DB run it out of the endzone?
I have those issues as well. Just spam X or try and run with it.

For whatever reason, I have ound that spinning helps after intercepting a pass in the endzone. Reason being, typically when you press B/O you spin laterally, not vertically which keeps your player in the end zone. I would say about 80% of the time, you typically spin right into a tackle for a touch back. Obviously if you pick the ball off on goal line towards the sideline, you typically want to try and take it for 6, but if you make a pick in the middle/deep in your endzone, pressing B/O helps keep your player in it.

You're welcome. I also have Bam Bam Kam and would be pretty livid if a card I spent 4.2 mill on made a mistake like that lol.

I’ve already had my own internal warfare with that card. I actually packed him when he first dropped, and have debated selling him this entire time. But truly I’ve just never played with a better defensive player. That interception mishap though.. that almost did it

Oh I agree, his interception animations are insane.
endzone ints double tap square immediately after the interception to go down n get it at the 20-25 (idk the yard line im slow rn)

If you are near the goal line, sometimes it will automatically move you forward and if you try to double tap x/square, it will down you at the one, not in the endzone. I have found spinning in the endzone to be the best way around this.

double tapping square in the end zone with ur DB will make him immediately fall down like a pile of bricks. This is what the OP wanted to know how to do, im pretty sure. In rare situations if u catch it one yard into the endzone its possible he moves forward and u still get it at the one yard line but double tap square is the *right* thing to do. Spinning might work for u but the possible strip risk accompanied with that is kinda crazy to be doing on a hard earned int

If you spin in the end zone, you will run right into a tackle. Your method is not wrong for plays in the deep/mid endzone, I just would not recommend that one not do that anywhere near the goal line, as the players forward momentum can carry you to the one, and you never want to give ea the chance to screw you over.
