I’m at 35/50 building my Niners theme team and am looking for advice from those who have gotten to 45/50 or 50/50 on theirs.
Do you use as many of the Captains as possible to get the 3x chemistry?
Are you stacking your bench with team players that you know won’t get playing time so you don’t care too much about their abilities?
Any general advice is appreciated!!

Load up on the TTAS LTD's, I use 4 captains but I have a Dolphin TT so I can use Gore (he will work on 49'ers too) and Crowder and get the chemistry for them. I also use Mawae and Reed. There are also other players that get 2 or 3x chemistry for your TT, https://www.mut.gg/players/?market=5&chemistry=6150-2

Thanks for this. So in positions where they may have a big weakness, would you feel the gaps with a stronger non-theme team player or just take the weaker 49er to get more chemistry?

I would see if you can find a player that gets all 32 team chems like these https://www.mut.gg/players/?market=5&chemistry=all32-1. If you can't find one though, I would make it a non-theme team spot. You should be able to easily get to 50/50 at this point in the game.
I’m 50 Niners with ~10 starters who are not niners And ~8 combine players for boosts
i had to use 3 captains, epic Niger’s strategy item, plus several 2x chem players (Eisen, Greenlaw). A Banks also has 2x chems
its a lot easier now with the free players and/or multi-team players from past promos (aahpi, TT all stars etc).
The superbowl strat and 9ers playbooks helps out also if you were able to get them

Sorry for the naive question, but how does the Super Bowl strat or 49ers strat or combine cards boost chemistry?
I totally see how some of the TT ones with 32 chem do it.. but I feel like I’m missing some of the “behind the scenes” stuff that I should be aware of.

Make sure to get the theme team all stats they are hella op and ye stack ur bench with players that just get the chem 2x if possible and use as many team captains as possible make sure to use just one token on gore and put him at rb2 cus he gets 2x niners Chem for 1 token and at ss one of the division dynasty gets 2x niners chem as well as u can use a filter on here to see who gets 1x 2x or 3x niners Chem and use the purple niners strat card gives u 4 chem

I personally use the combine boost and have a few combine players in my team who are boosted to a 99 97 willis is a beast on a 50/50 tt after being boosted to a 99 plays great for 130k
I build my team with the best players from my tt first then fill all of my second string/backup positions with players from my tt. Using the team diamonds or players with x2/x3 chems helps a lot. Also the team affinity strat card that gets up to x4 team chem if I’m correct helps.
From there it should put you well over 50 players. After that I upgrade positions that I’d like with players from other teams if necessary until I’m at back to 50 tt players. Another tip is utilizing the “specialty” positions while setting up your lineup. For example if Im at 50 tt players but I want to use a player that doesn’t have my team chem, I can start them at sub lb, slot corner, rush dt/le/re etc or any position within the specialty portion of the lineup configuration while keeping my team at 50tt players.
