Is it a totally different ability or is it both in one? Description isn’t super clear
One Step Ahead works in all Man coverage
I think outside shade give quicker reactions to both man and zone if the player is covering on the oustide of the field
Then inside shade give quicker reactions to both man and zone if the player is covering on the oustide of the field
So inside+outside shade is universal coverage without KOs...just all reaction boosts in man and zone

Oh interesting, OSA doesn’t work for zone but the others do? I’m trying to figure out the best setup for Ward and I’d deff like the zone benefits too 🤔
but universal coverage will give the same zone boosts? This is so confusing lol

Incorrect. OSA is inside/outside in one ability. It's also strictly man coverage.

None works for zone coverage.

That's my thinking but not factual
I'm not sure anyone knows the exact answer other than EA devs

That is untrue
None of them (OSA, OS, IS) work in zone coverage
One Step Ahead is simply Outside Shade and Inside Shade combined and provides faster reactions to cuts but ONLY while in man coverage
Pretty sure one step ahead is just both in one
If you scheme is heavy man coverage and man blitzes, then OSA is a must. UC, can be a substitute (a better substitute), but I don't think any cards get it baked in, just as a Charged X factor.
I know a popular youtuber said UC has osa built in it, that's cap

Pretty sure UC includes OSA…and all zone reactions, and man/zone KOs

here’s the solid proof from EA themselves that One Step ahead is included in Universal Coverage 🏆🏆

The most amusing part of my otherwise depressing day was the insinuation that the laziest, most incompetent devs in modern gaming know anything for sure, let alone something as specific as the current subject matter.

Solid proof and EA should never be in the same sentence 😂. I mean just based off me using Revis in man coverage with uc & osa and with just uc I seen a difference so idk
