This seems like an easy mode to throw in, but I can’t find it, so I don’t guess it exists, but is there anyway to practice against a friend in mut?
Yeah it would be a nice feature for practice mode. It's not ideal but play friend would be the closest thing online. If your friend was in the same room you could also do it.
So I met a random dude in squads about a week ago, he’s strictly D and I’m stictly O and we are unbelievable together. His D is 98 and my O is 99. We’re 12-2 in our last 14 games I moved all the way up from the lowest tier to all stars now and I’m fixing to move up again. I noticed a few things he could be doing better on defense and we’re not using the mic so it’s hard to type everything i need to say. I’m positive I could show him some stuff if we could just play against each other and he could see how I run a defense. For instance, he never blitzes like ever, and good players know how to counter blitz, but when we play a team that you can tell isn’t that good, they usually can’t handle a blitz if he would just do it. To his credit he usually does pick them off by the time they get into our red zone but not always. The reason we win is because of homeboys stick skills they are easily the best stick skills I’ve ever seen by far. i’ve made dozens of highlight 10 second clips of him with my offense. The guy is unbelievable. So it’s me at QB and my scheme and his stick skills and his ability to get a lot of interceptions that keep us winning. He says he hasn’t ever won a lot on his own with randoms and neither have I. It’s just us two together. It’s pretty crazy actually. And get this we’re both from Louisiana, We figured that out last night.

That's awesome you found someone you gel with for squads! It's always a good feeling playing with someone like that.
In terms of practice mode, unfortunately there isn't a mode specifically dedicated to practice that two people can join. The best option would be to use play a friend in MUT, and you could go over the things there you wanted to work on together.
