Bro just get better. Or don't. But don't lie to yourself that if you were better you wouldn't complain about knockouts so much.

lol keep telling yourself that...acting like the skill gap isnt narrowed when the cpu/abilities will bail you out for low football iq and making bad playcalls smh exactly what is wrong with this sad excuse of a football game. it pays to be a moron when playing madden knowing abilities, xfactors, and pre lits are there to save the day. one thing i will give the pro players credit for is that even they know this is complete bs
Vanguard and honorary linemen are nice and if your one of the ones who can't stop this. You probably need to stop using SS as Sub LBs and start sticking to conventional Mike LBs. 230+ MLBs with high strength and IBL. Vanguard isn't the problem. The problem is people not understanding there own playbook and proper placement of there players. Also if you see a Ted Hendricks on the field run the ball even WRs can IBL him on his ass. If you see Trent Williams FB you better have a 4 man front. With a mike thats ready to eat a block. 3 man front is not the answer to the run unless you have some really good LBs in a 3-3. Secure Tackle is King right now. If you can't afford ST that's another reason you probably gave up 100+ rushing yards.

Did u not play at tha beginning of tha year? No qbs had sfl, almost no dbs had kos, n offense was objectively op. Like watch any video from that time period errbody gon be sayin offense not balanced, offense too easy, dis a offensive madden. If tha game was balanced, which has never happened, maybe u would be right, but def not in madden 24

the game will never be balanced, how long have you been playing? every year it's a pendulum, offense is too good, then we go back to cover 0 meta and defense is too good. Leave it offensive, offensive madden is more fun than running iso, stretch, trap, and throwing whip routes begging for yards while you get insta sacked.

yuh thas wut i said tha game never been balanced. n yuh i agree offensive is prolly more fun, but if u remove both kos n velocity chems, offense is jus op, like we seen at tha beginning of tha year. if defense is impossible, it aint as fun cus een if u scorin, tf u gon do as u watch tha other player also score easily too. u still need to balance it wit defensive abilities, n not add dem based on offensive abilities like ur sayin bout tha kos. There was a short period of time dis year when there were only a couple kos on tha field, n een if there was sfl, madden was still a lil balanced. im sayin u cant say kos aint needed if sfl ain there, cus u most def need them if sfl ain there, or offense jus op fa errbody
At this point if you’re having a hard time vs KOs it’s 100% a skill issue, learn better route combos and how to free form and rocket catch. You can literally make there Kos use less. I run zero abilities on my players and easily throw for 300+ yards. Using vanguards and RPOs is not going help you become a better at the game and definitely won’t help you learn to pass

Sounds like you're just not good enough I guess. Yeah KOs are OP but if you were good enough you'd overcome them.

Stands for dynamic difficulty adjustment. Some believe it to assist lower skill players to keep games close. Some believe it to not be present in any games. Some believe it to be present in offline games only
Hell nah I hate when people runALL game. it’s not that hard to get past ko you just have to know how to read defenses and attack the middle of the of the field when playing against mable and learn how to manipulate defenses. IMO that’s how you play madden is with mind games and chess not just run the ball all day lol

I do pass. On occasion. By the way, there are defensive schemes where mid zone knockout and press coverage are pretty much dominating. As a matter of probabilities coupled with nature of outcome, running is so much preferable to passing.
I don’t like having to defend against the run on every play. I also hate getting burned repeatedly on RPO Alert plays that I know are coming. I’m sorry that Madden in June doesn’t look or feel anything like the NFL, but I don’t in any way feel guilty for trying to call plays that give me the greatest likelihood of victory. With the exception of RPO Alert. That class of play is disrespectful to the game. I’d rather lose than be evil.

see, I don’t think there’s anything off limits morally speaking. It’s boring to play that way, but alls fair in love and war

It’s, of course, not truly a moral issue. However, some of the RPO Alert plays are, as you already well know, extremely overpowered. I hope that in Madden 25 those plays get positively nerfed, and that the users winning a bunch of Champs and Seasons games spamming RPO Alert actually have to learn how to leverage a playbook.
KissTheRing said:People will look you dead in the eyes and say DDA doesn't exist and that the KOs are fine, "You just have to throw it out of their reach," as if there aren't a litany of examples where a receiver will catch a pass well away from the defender, and it's either a knockout or a hitstick, depending on how EA favors you.
KOs the way they've been this year are awful for the game, and anyone saying differently is either delusional or lying.
DDA?
