So since I have been using a deadeye ability on my qb ( 0 ap on a couple different ones), while attempting to use free form, it seems to consistently throw out of reach. Am I missing something? Admittingly not a pro or even all that good for that matter.
When you use deadeye abilities your qb will throw a "perfect" pass every time. Perfect passes will go exactly where you aim them regardless of if the location is catchable for your receiver. You may simply be aiming at the wrong spot every time. If you play better without these abilities take them off. But you may also just need more practice with your free form passing or to change up your free form settings
^ very interesting and informative Ty mayne

If you're consistently throwing it out of reach for your receivers, you may need to change your free form settings as well.
Near will allow you to have a smaller "miss" window, but not allow you to put it too far away from the receiver.
Far allows you to put it a little further from the receiver but gives a bigger chance to miss the receiver.
No Max allows the most freedom but also comes with the biggest chance of missing the receiver.
Also note that if you are using "placement and accuracy" you can control the accuracy of the pass much better without the need of an ability by timing the accuracy meter correctly.
Here is a video we did going over this -----> https://youtube.com/shorts/qz52Sw0rhpY?feature=share
