I mean how hard is it to mess up RP when you could literally just do exactly what you did last year and everyone would be more happy then what you did this yearš¤£

To be fair, i was already leabing towards not doing it BECAUSE of last year. IDM if you remember rhis but people didn't even get thejr cards in the new game for weeks and most of them were already outdated when they got them.
It was a joke last year too, just like everything this company has done since about 2012-2015 give or take. Somewhere in that window it all only went downhill. Kind of like alot of things in our society as a whole.Ā
Either way, were all gonna buy it, play it, and complain just like everyyear and nothing will change. Not for the netter anyway, the only changes made these days seem to be negative ones so IF it changes, dont get too excited.
They have been doing their best to screw over investors all year long, so I am not surprised by this at all.
lol we all knew it....EA maddens greed is clear to see this yr and they hate the hand that feeds them, us the community smh. all good ncaa online/offline dynasty is calling me
They have done nothing this year that would lead us to believe this was going to be a "fire" program...I have learned if I keep my expectations low than my disappointment is no big deal.
June Madden as found a way to reach a new low.

You really hit the nail on the head here, Squishy. Ā Amen, brother. Ā I still have a sour taste in my mouth from last cycle, getting so hyped for RP and to participate in my very first Day 1 Madden (pre)release, only to be continually disappointed. Ā It was weeks upon weeks before we got those 33 RP sets delivered to us, which made the Rookie Premiers mostly irrelevant. Ā EA got me good, having to burn some of my 4600 Deluxe edition points on a starter team, just so i could play the darn game with ~82 OVR squad, oof. Ā Unreal.
Wish i could simply walk away, but i've still got an EA-sized gorilla on my back. Ā All the usual EA nonsense aside, i've actually had some brief bursts of fun, even with June Madden/MUT, although there have been equivalent amounts (if not more so) of frustration for the bad / broken game.
I'm eager to start fresh, so i can at least have access to the auction house again finally... assuming that still exists in M25.

It's strange to me how common this has become in the modern era. Ā Companies literally despise their own fans. Ā Dealing with similar stuff from Disney Star Wars (not to be confused with the classis, OG Holy Trilogy).
I get the sense that NCAA will be the more interesting and definitely more modern gameplay of the two football franchises, the simple fact that NCAA does not have to support last-generation (PS4, etc.) consoles should be pretty huge moving forward. Ā Hopefully this is the very last year of split Madden.

The AH was on beta but man their obvious greed tactics piss me off to the core. Really debating hard grabbing 25 due to their obvious greedy bs. Really dont wanna go through another year of the same shyt.

Madden hasn't been truly overhauled since the PS3 days, so I assure you them "having to support last-generation" is NOT an issue. The clunky menus and basic game design is hardly modern at all. The best part though, is seeing like Chase Young Or Roman Reigns with their long hair down...then quickly tucked back up under the helmet for a play...then let back down for the reply or sideline shot...then back under the helmet for the next play! That's some PS2 level "graphics" there!!!!

The entitlement of the modern workforce is my theory at the source of alot of that stuff.Ā
Employees treat their job as if its an inconvenience to them, they seem to think they are owed their check for simply existing and actually doing the work is optional. Not only that, they ALSO want to be pat on the back constantly for evry little thing. Its a recipe for disaster in any industry, from fast food workers to the highest levels of like, tech and marketing firms.

Honestly this is more prevalent among the laptop class, then the trades. Most trades people are still tough and have at least a decent work ethic.

Yeah i agree i just didnt want anybody getting offended and getting offtrack. But seriously, even alot of the customers have the same Ā mindset which is why they excuse it.Ā
When the game breaks on a weekend or holiday and they take their time fixing it people make excuses "ohhh poooor them im glad theyre with their fsmilies"
But its cool when a glitch benefits the communtiy at 1130pm on a tuesday and they shut the whole game down and fix it in an hour.

Ya, although it's extremely difficult for me to want to fault the workers here. Ā It's not that "nobody wants to wr0k" (that's some bullshit, backwards talking point), the simple fact is that nobody wants to work three bad part-time jobs, while barely earning enough to feed their families, let alone make rent (or mortgage for the truly fortunate ones) or even be able to consider "luxury" items such as health insurance.
The whole globalization of the economy has been a race to the bottom. Ā Fast food / service industry workers are some of THE hardest working people in the entire country. Ā If nothing else, COVID showed us who was truly "essential" to the economy. Ā And it's not the paper pushing bankers or Wall Street execs, it's not EA Orlando, it's the grocery store clerk or the person at the deli counter making our sandwiches.
Power to the people!
