Universal Coverage - Do you need to pair it ?

Do you still need the one step aheads or the inside or outside shades? Or zone KO's for reaction time?

I would recommend at least pairing it with DZKO/DRKO to prevent you from getting bombed. I honestly do not prefer UC, as I prefer the actual KO abilities. IMO, they have a slightly better reaction time. But if you are going to use UC, IMO at least equip the abilities above with it, so you lessen the chance of giving up quick scores.

I don’t pair Universal Coverage with any KO’s and my players still get the reactions and Knockouts. You can also see the defenders with UC flash on WR cuts showing that the One Step Ahead part of UC is working.

Agreed 100%. Ive had UC on Revis/Ward/Neal with no other KO abilities, and they still get the reaction+KOs all over the field.
