So we all knew it was it Champs mode, but I didnt know it was also in Regular Season mode - although it wouldnt suprise me as I always get equal matchusp in Reg Season mode

But apparently its not in ALL MADDEN seasons, so I will likely start playing that mode more
.
And its not in House Rules/Draft Champs/etc, but these modes arent always around
.

It’s definitely not in house rules and maybe even squads. In both modes, you’ll see quite a few players not using any abilities or X factors at all
while in regular season/champs I rarely ever see that happen
Why are you lumping Elo/SBMM and DDA together?
Elo/SBMM are widely accepted as the mechanism for picking matchups.
DDA is an unproven boogeyman that people claim is real when they have bad games. Maybe it is and maybe it isn’t but I’ve seen no credible evidence to suggest that it is other than some screwy games that could just as easily be explained by EA’s shitty game development.

I completely agree with you on this one. Bad coding is all over this game from Solos, to Challenges to Online modes. Don't buy the DDA conspiracy theories.
One thing that just came to mind that makes no sense to me…
If the matchmaking is as good as they claim it to be, and they love engagement, Then why don’t they offer a play again/rematch???
so many times I’ve wanted to play an opponent again. But you can’t through ”play a friend” because it doesn’t count towards anything.
also, if the matchmaking is so good, then why do they constantly put you up against a MUCCCCH tougher opponent in your Super Bowl??? That’s 100% BS and not good matchmaking.
I went like 5-20 in super bowls this year

Probably because then those 2 people could just keep going back and forth to meet all challenge goals until they are met.

Who said matchmaking is good? Seems like one of the many things people complain about. It's pretty trash, imo.
