Has anyone managed to get the requisite 5,000 yards? I've still got 1,502 to go. Being able to upgrade the fastest 0AP Secure Protector lineman in the game to be the fasterest has its appeal.
99 Fan Appreciaton Joe Thomas with all them abilities... wasting my RP on JC would be comical.
And Joe has 98 SPD...
Secure protector... also free on Joe
You're running Joe Thomas at tackle? Why not run him at tight end?

Because he loses his chem boost at TE and cant catch... and I already have LTD TTAS Andrews and FanApp Julius.
Regardless your still just wrong. Joe Thomas is the fastest 0AP secure protector lol

Joe Thomas gets impact blocks even if Aidan Hutchinson is wiping out zone progress. I haven't tried Julius.
I didn't depth chart Thomas at TE. He's an LT2. He's got dedicated run-blocking abilities. He's 312 pounds. And I sub him at TE in obvious run situations. I can get him in motion to start the play. Again, he's 312 pounds. All of this lets me keep Latham at LT.
There are utilities for using Thomas that way over other players with Vanguard. Especially if you're trying to save coins after an egregiously pricey introduction to Rookie Premiere 24.
While that may be true that is all just a preference for you. Doesn't make your original post true... but if that works for you cool

I suppose I wasn't making an apples-apples comparison here from the start. I was comparing Latham in a list sorted by speed that saw Joe Thomas much lower because it wasn't counting all of his tokens. I was also comparing two players who could get the same upgrades from theme teams and motivator chems either way.
So if you're comparing a stock Latham to an upgraded Thomas, that's cool.
Leave Joe Thomas at LT, and just get a decent TE with blocking abilities.. I had bavaro since he came out and andrews, and I had Trent, but honestly Mackey is better and get crumpler and those 2 with andrews is a solid 3TE run line..
rly? im runnin Joe Thomas at RT1 and LT2 for chems then trent at LT1

You can also use the Combine Motivations to boost OL speed. i did see a lot of illegal man down field calls on a few Guards when ran RPOs and PA plays when they were boosted too high.
got my 5,000 yards, what's the benefit I get, nothing happened.

Because he has 30 catching and 7 route running

I guess I didn’t adequately consider scheme in my suggestion. I’ve played run-heavy since I obtained Jason Kelce as a Redux. I don’t throw to my tight ends if I’ve called a play to hand the ball off. If I need to throw, and need that tight end to be one of the reads, I can always motion him out if possible, flip the play for a different alignment, or as a last resort, call a time out.
Anyway, this is one of my worst threads here. Sorry, guys. Latham’s doing a great job for me at Left Tackle, and Joe Thomas is mowing down players outside the numbers. Apparently my scheme is a little more exotic than what most of my peers are using.
