I just booted up my Xbox and I can’t connect to Live. Anyone else having this issue at the moment?

Yes
It won’t let me sign in, but according to Xbox they aren’t having any issues. It may have something to do with EAs recent acquisition of Microsoft. Soon you will have to pay $5 to connect to the servers on top of your live fees also…..and the console will crash much more frequently…..They’ve already got EAhelp running things.

this has nothing to do with ea. it is a microsoft issue.

Yes...my system is showing an error on Microsoft's side.
Per Xbox.com/status....."You may not be able to sign-in to your Xbox profile, may be disconnected while signed in, or have other related problems. Features that require sign-in like most games, apps and social activity won't be available."

Lol microsoft never admits there's problems on that status page. EA never admits issues as well. Perfect couple.

Xbox Live has been hit by a major outage, leaving thousands of players unable to sign-into their profiles.
DownDetector, a site that monitors outages, shows issues stuck around 2pm ET and are plaguing users in the US, the UK and parts of Europe, Asia and South America.
Users have cited problems with logging in, server connection and game play.
For anyone who is down.
