people can say “skill issue” all they want, I have no issue stopping a single other player in the game, and especially no other RB. He’s the only player in the entire game that’s basically an instant quit for me because I’m not dealing with it
If they are running a bunch of vanguards aswell it’s tough. Having as many reinforcements, secure tackle, and tackle supremes on the field helps but it sucks you pretty much have to set your defensive abilities up just to stop it. atleast for me because I typically like to run avalanche rather then secure tackler/ tackle supreme. I just stick with it, try not to get frustrated and hope to get a turnover. I will say the W does feel better if your able to stop some that just spams stretch runs with Perry the whole game
Yea I’ve ran at least 5 games in the last 20 with Perry at QB, 10 vangaurds and them spamming QB blast. I really don’t see how someone can enjoy playing that way at this time of the year.

I haven’t had a shit ton of trouble with him. I blitz him hard and try to hit him in the backfield as much as I can. Never let him get going is the theory. Leaves you open for the pass but usually when somebody’s spamming the fridge they aren’t too good at passing anyway
Also, don’t get me wrong he does rush for significant yardage against me pretty often too. But I’ve always been able to strike those types of players back when im on O, cuz like I said they usually aren’t the best players to begin with

This is the problem, the fall-forward animation doesn't seem to care who is tackling you. As long as you qualify for your fall-forward, it happens. No regard for the weight on the other side of the tackle.
The weirdest thing is I tried using him as it seems like most vanguard runners use him, and he just felt really bad for me. And I had Skowronek and Cruz + Trent out there with him. Just felt like he was slow for me and never broke tackles. Could've been the people I was playing against though
With all the new cards getting 8-9 0AP abilities, maybe we add some "stonewall abilities" to prevent Fat Perry from falling forward everytime
used to use perry cause i pulled him BND and i’m a bears fan so why not. pretty fun but i got sick of him so i got walter instead. i def like walter more but i probably face perry every 2 or 3 games, and hes a PROBLEM. warren sapp and nick bosa do a good job of quick shedding and slowing him down. but if they don’t, it’s pretty much run straight at him and cutstick, which has worked okay.

Yea they are the players who lose all year long and when abilities get out of hand finally get a win. They will never end up actually getting good. I blame EA for all these dumb abilities though.
Cut sticks w Lumberjack. Makes him fumble often. Hope this helps
I don’t run into him much and don’t seem to have that much of a problem stopping him. im prob just getting lucky tho
