Is the Bottleneck man scheme worth it or is too inconsistent!? I have the coins to get the necessary players but not sure it to switch or not!? Lemme know pls!? Thank youu
I'd say it depends on your skill level. It's inconsistent at best against player who know how to beat man. But dominant against those that can't. The better you are the more likely it is that you'll face opponents who know can beat man.
But there's a reason it was the new meta for a time. It might be worth it if you struggle to get stops with your current scheme.

Alright thank you! I play most of the time in mvp division, and competition is fairly good, i tried running a man scheme with one step and UC, but still found myself getting beat, but since we’re in the later part of the game I feel like I can try bottle neck with UC or like inside shade or one step

Yeah you can definitely have success using bottleneck at that level. But I would advise you to either run UC or roster some backups with zone abilities since you will face some players who can shred bottleneck.
Bottleneck is honestly pretty to beat now. There are a ton of receivers who get rac em up, double me, or max security which beats the press. I‘ve been running into it a lot less now and when I do it’s pretty easy to beat.

That’s what I was thinking! thank you for the advice! I’m 5-0 right now with bottleneck, but I’m definitely going to add some depth with zone abilities for the playoffs!!

Mmm makes sense! I appreciate the feedback, I’m doing fairly well so far 5-0, but I’m also going to add more depth of zone ability corners just in case I start running into more people with those abilities!!
