What RP 99 set should have been...

Recieve 1 RP 99 of your choice BND, and pick from 1 of the 4 RR 99s you added to the set as a BND.

That would be somewhat better for sure 

the cost is what’s stopping me at this point

I miss the days when you got back the cards you out into a set.. all of these cards, I’ve had to buy dupes of the ones I wanted. So lame.

idk why people don’t just build the players and use them for the time being. then complete the sets in like 3 weeks when the game is over. none of those rp players are needed on anyone’s team.

The set expires about a week before madden 25 Is out

Exactly. Get the 99 set players and use them on ur team until the set expires and then build the 99 rp’s later. Idk why everyone wants to build their 2 rp’s right away, then they don’t get to use the 99 red zone royal players that go into the sets.

I made one being patient on the AH scooping up 97 overall RR players to build the 99s. Then I built DRC and just using him until the end, if I even build the 2nd one. Doubtful I will. I only wanted Arnold badly out of the options. And likely will grab Nubin with the tokens set.

Arnold + DRC is pretty damn solid combo

This was my first MUT back since like 17 and I remember at the very beginning of the year being dumbfounded that you didn't get the cards back that you put into sets. Was it like that last year?

Unfortunately it's probably still 3 weeks away. LVL 19 of the RP field pass gets you your 2nd token. Then 2 tokens from challenges and I'd bet the last token comes on the last drop of challenges:/

There were several years where you got a lot of cards back as BND. I think M20 to M22 range. It was like putting 4 champions into a set for a big time 99, you got the 99 and all the cards you put in as BND. I'd do all of them and just sell off the big set card and build my team full of BND I got back. But that probably cut into EAs bottom line so they did away with it.
