Ya they basically said “if you can’t liquidate 10mill” you ain’t deserve them two rookie premieres.
whatever. If that’s the case they better be good.
how much coin you got to work with?
Also, I know a few of the top content creators suggested waiting to do the sets till very end. Also most people are in this boat having to work towards them so I’m imagining a lot of action that first week of August.
i was able to liquidate like 4.5 mill. I snagged 3 RR guys and have turned the remaining 1.5mill into 3mill the last week just flipping golden tickets and some of the better cards in game.
like Anquan Boldin. I bought for 1mill twice and sold for 1.5
the last 3 days I got a joe burrow for 700k and sell for 850k
You can build them for about 2.5-3 mil buying 95s under 30k. Still a lot but thats to be expected...

I completed both of my sets for under 3 million coins TOTAL. Honestly if it's costing you more than 3 mil each, then you're not even trying.

That is categorically false unless you're factoring in snipes, lucky pack openings, flips, etc (which also would not be what your post suggests). At minimum it costs 25K each for a 95 x 4 = RR 97 for 100K. 100K x 6 = 1, 99 RR for 600K x 4 = 2.4 mill. That's not withstanding the fact that you can't "build" 8 sets yet, you have to have 4 LTD's which we'll call 1 mill each. So build 4 sets for 600K (min) = 2.4 mill + 4 LTD's x 1 mill = 4 mill + 2.4 mill = 6.4 mill - MINIMUM.
Please don't spread false or misleading info to pound your chest.

Categorically false? Are you playing on my account? No, you're not - so you don't know. Nowhere did I say I didn't get it done without snipes, flips, or luicky pack openings. That's part of the effort it takes - what do you think "you're not trying" means? Yeah you can't just go in there and search by most expensive and expect to have it magically finished cheap. Shocker! Plus your math is off, since you don't HAVE to use LTD's to do it. Even so, I have seen several Kearse's well below a million coins.
So please don't spread falso or misleading info yourself. Just because YOU can't do something, doesn't mean it can't be or wasn't done. Troll elsewhere.

I know you are but what am I. What is this, a 3rd grade argument you're bringing me here?
You said if it's costing you 3 million. What do you think that implies? It has nothing to do with flips and if that's the case suggest so. Trying could mean many things, waiting until a card drops for purchase on the AH would be the most obvious approach to the question, so don't suggest this was obvious or I wouldn't have called you out!
Ok, you got me, they don't have to be LTD's, but you have to purchase 2 99's and they're the same price as LTD's so don't try to win an argument with that "correction." You attempted to discredit earlier posters by suggesting it's not the real cost, but it is! Your profits while in the process of completing a set don't count as part of a purchase price!

“Lucky pack openings” are effort now?
Anyway, to the extent that some people have played this game all year, there’s a chance they have already accumulated enough cards to be able to assemble four RR99 sets for one RP, and they might have been able to flip their binder for the other. The point made was that saying a set whose completion requires about 4 million in coin equivalence ran you only about 1.5 million because of your skill is entirely misleading. Almost anyone can do and has done what you did.

A lot of my pack openings and set building came from sniping cards and tons of mystery packs. So yes that's effort. Also I didn't say 1.5 mil was the norm, I said if it was costing you more than 3 mil you weren't trying. Under 3 mil is easy just by setting a max on 95's, 93's, and 91's. As far as "Almost anyone can do this and has done what you did" - judging by the number of posts complaining about the cost and/or asking for help - obviously not LOL!

I have like 6 mil and maybe like another 2 mil I can liquidate by selling cards. I have a lot of LTDs sitting in my folder. Before they came out I just knew I was going to be able to get almost Yall of them. Last year I was able to collect my whole defense and like 5 offensive players and I dont remember working with that many coins. But at this price it’s looking like I’m only going to get like 2 😩😂

Bro for a 99 red zone they’re averaging like 1.10 mil. So How are you completing for 3 mil? You might’ve did that when Kearse was around 800K, but it’s no way you completed RP set for 3 mil recently. unless you spent money to get the packs that guarantee the certain cards and you bought the rest of the ones you needed.( there’s nothing wrong with that if u did)

I've covered a lot of this in other posts in regards to the 1st RP, but I got some good breaks on the 2nd one. It's going heavy into setting a price point and sticking to it. 95's for 25k, not paying more than 30. 93's for 10.5k, not paying more than 13k. And 91's for 4.1-4.3k, not paying more than 5k. When the program first dropped these were pretty plentiful and I was able to buy up a lot at these prices. It's harder to find them there right now, so the people that waited have hurt themselves. I still buy up 95's and 91's to make other sets for coins, so I've seen the increase. The other thing I was doing heavily in week one was mystery packs. Buying 98'S for minimum price and opening up as much as I wanted. Before RP, a lot of cards in mystery parks were going to be losses - but now they are ones we want. 95's, 93's and 91's go straight into sets. 88's and 89's easily go into sets for 91's. Quicksell everything else and keep rolling, unless it's a redux or something that sells well. I got my first RP and a good amount of pieces for the 2nd this way, for just under 2 mil total.
I was going to be content to just keep the pieces and hold them to complete the 97 sets as they became available (since they are not repeatable), but then some crazyness happened. I had already pulled a 99 Otto Graham out of the RP coin packs. I got another 99 Otto out of the 95+ field pass pack. Then the Dave Robinson was selling so high, I decided to sell mine and use the coins to just buy another Otto (who much around 850k at the time). My Robinson sold for 1.1 mil, and when I refreshed less than a minute later there was one up for 509k - and I was able to snipe it. At that point I was so close to having the 2nd one done without having to wait 1-2 more weeks. I looked and 97's were selling for 170-180k each. 99's like Graham were 840-880. So I just sold off my 97's (which were gone in less than an hour) and turned right around to buy the 99's I needed for LESS than I just made off the 97's, and without having to wait to build out the sets. That's how #2 got built stupidly cheap.
And no, I didn't buy any of the point packs to ger RR cards. I'm completely a NMS player.
