Top 5 best and worst promos

Best:

• Super Bowl
• Most Feared
• Legends/Ultimate Legends
• Combine
• AKA/AKA Crews

Worst:

• Rookie Premier (Each Rookie Costs too much and there is a very limited number that can be obtained and transferred to Madden 25)
• Ring of Honor (Each Player is too Expensive. Some players like Big Ben have garbage baked on abilities that eat up 5 AP)
• Genki Force (I am not into made up players. I bought Madden for the NFL players and Legends)
•  Team Builders (Not One Good Starter for my team came out of this program. It is behind its time)
• Black History Month (Great Players that were released way too late. They were not useable because their OVR was too low. It was a mockery rather than a promotion of BHM)

Best: Playoffs, Superbowl, Combine, Sugar Rush, ROH, TTAS, Division Dynasty, Fan Appreciation, UL’s

Worst: Genki, Reel Deels, Infinite Flux, Crucible

Real deals by far the worse this Yr

Hard to find the best: I liked combine, zero chill, and the card art from ttas. Draft was alright besides the fact MHJ didn’t get a card but that wasnt EAs fault. ROH was pretty good too.

Worst: Infinte flux was infinitely bad lol. I liked the fact Budda got a card but it really wasn’t that great. I didn’t like Easter this year, or the thanksgiving promo really. Genki force was god awful as well. Honestly tho almost any promo I didn’t mention in the best was bad.

I literally forgot about  Crucible entirely that’s how bad it was lol

Man, most Promos this year were lame. So many required money spent to get anywhere and loads had no real theme and seemed rushed. 

Worst would be Rookie Premier because you can only get 8, Infinite Flux, because I have no idea what the theme was, Crucible for much the same reason and Reel Deals because any game with Burt Reynolds as a football player has lost its mind.

Best were Genki Force (which I didn't really like because of the totally fictional 90OVR's) but it did give me 2 Raiders (Carr and Adams) who are still starting, Christmas and Sugar Rush. The last 2 had fairly shit rewards but at least you could get them fairly easily and had a handful of OK cards. The last Theme Team promo with the 99's and extra Chems was also good for those with a TT.

Zero Chill/Ghosts, Super Bowl, Combine, TTAS and Fan Appreciation (mostly because of welcome packs) would be my top 5 best not including weekly stuff like legends/ultimate legends and AKA. Top 5 worst are Campus Heroes (underwhelming especially part 2), Gridiron Guardians, Ultimate Kickoff, Infinite Flux and probably Reel Deals. Honorable worst promo mention to the NFL draft since part 1 had a bunch of 99s that were really bad and then we didn't get Caleb or MHJ and the other top picks were not that great

NFL draft night is a sleeper pick using your fav players in college is always fun

For best I'd say promos like super bowl, combine, and zero chill which all featured a lot of great cards for their their time. I know I included some of these in the worst list. But if I separate the content we got from EA's business decisions it's hard to deny these promos had excellent cards.

Really good take here, I'd also include crucible as one of the worst, as most of the players were pretty mid right out of the gate. I'd also have campus heros 1 as one of the best, the free RG3 was a monster for me for a long time, and that Bo Jackson i think is one of the most used cards this year.

People really dogged Genki Force, but that delivered an offbeat and fun challenge mode, the best House Rules of the year, and cards that hung around for months. The only really credible reason for hating GF was hating anime, and to each his own in that regard. My selections centered on minimally developed, minimally impactful programs that were as synonymous with "filler" as you could get.

That one safety in team builders was the best user at start of the game and that fast receiver was good too

A lot of my picks for worst promos are a bit out of left field by design. It's more interesting to me than just listing 5 promos that were badly simply because they had bad cards. Plus I believe something like pay 2 win xfactor tokens are worse for the game overall than a couple weeks of bad cards.

I would have taken a similar approach for the best list but I honestly don't think any promo stood out to me as a good promo for any reason besides the cards.

Is it unconventional to put the same promo on both the best and worst list? Yes, I won't deny that. But I'd rather say a promo like super bowl was one of the best for the amazing cards and simultaneously one of the worst for having pay 2 win xfactor tokens than say it was mid or only include it in one of best or worst list. Things can be multifaceted. It's not exclusively either or in my book.
