I skipped 23 after 22 but I think I will stay on 24 and then retire to NCAA. EA has continually watered down their franchise mode to make it less enjoyable. First thing you get when you open the Menu is the game trying to make you play ultimate team. I am hopeful with Dynasty they put in immense effort since they are really hoping to sell this game. This has been far and away my worst experience with MUT and I’m done. The odds got worse, you don’t even get as many items.. why in July can you spend 80k training and a gold player pack with a 73+ is in the pool? Because you don’t care as a company. Why would you update the draft for the promo, breathe life into it and then make sure it goes back to 80 ovrs and dies when the promo ends? Because you don’t want players to enjoy that mode without spending money. YOU CANT EVEN PLAY A PRIVATE SQUADS MATCH AGAINST FRIENDS IN JULY. I don’t know how we let that happen…. Even worse, I don’t understand the excuses from the YouTubers and even worse from “comp” people. Madden is far & away the most toxic game I try to enjoy. i just have this game because I love football, but strangely people will call you poor if your team is low ovr and can’t compete, people will say all you do is spend money when you have a competitive team or see a broken card that had its odds locked behind a bundle (and can I side note how at least earlier it was cool that you would basically get the card everytime out of the fantasy option since ya know? you paid all that money for it.. then they made it an “opportunity“ So that you could spend that exact money for nothing and they could finesse at least 20 from those less willing and people Let it ride? LMAO) and you go get it, everybody is so elitist on this game, nobody is just nice. Even playing solo, I’ll just leave my mic unplugged and it’s still people just yelling and trying to cheese the game. Loved being spammed with slurs everytime I played house rules or tried to Que solo thank God I had friends to play with a spent the majority of my time on squads.
TL;DR: Good Riddance Madden hopefully dynasty has actual creativity and well thought out gameplay for a franchise type mode which has been lacking in Madden for years, IN SPITE of the fact those slimey, greedy people made sure to make it unavailable for cross-play

No it's not... if you are buying packs or buying coins from Mr.Mut online, then it is for the first 2-3 months about $1000 minimum you will spend for players that you want on your team.. just to compete online.. and don't say you are not buying packs or buying coins online, because you are lying..
I am sticking with 24 for a while, that's why I am not doing the RP sets, I am not trading 4 good players for a trash player that will downgrade to a lower overall in 25 doesn't make sense to me and depending on how 25 is looking by Christmas if the game still hasn't improved then I will just stay with 24..
I just saw CFB will have NFL/college legends so I think ima play that game full time and hop back on madden 24 whenever I get tired of the early game $300+ teams.
Does anyone know if team play will be on 25.. Squads makes it a little more enjoyable. Still haven't got a ps5 yet. And not going to just to play ncaa. Hoping the 4 version of madden has team play. Or I may just take a year off also. And grab a 5 during Christmas time from Mrs Claus. Either way hope everyone is enjoying summer best we can.
One Pride

20 dollars a day for “opportunity packs”
7 days a week
~50 weeks a year. Not to mention ROH tokens and all of that shit. Do the math kiddo. Nice try with your bullshit tho novice (not you but you in generalities)

It's like when COD went to jetpacks
Slight push-back here. X-factors (at least the ones that do not start ON) were never the problem. Giving out X-factors as baked on abilities was the real issue. I get it, in June/July things can get a little wonky, I try not to hold that against them, but this has been going back as far as what, Combine promo, if not much much longer.
Needing a velocity ability on our QBs so we can simply pass the dang ball, or needing Gift-Wrapped so our players can actually catch the damn ball, well... those are much more glaring issues in my mind, but you're spot on correct here with this assessment.
I love the game of fatball and will forever remain passionate about my beloved Niners, but EA might have finally pushed me too far. Not rushing to sign up for another year of this broken, buggy ass mess. Hope everyone diving into M25 enjoys it, but it's about damn time i have some basic standards. There's legit good games out there, i've been ridiculously addicted to this madness.
Wake me up if/when EA allows the exclusive NFL license to expire. Monopoly bad.

No $1000 is necessary. Not even a penny more is necessary. If you play enough, and spend your coin wisely and use coin making "methods", you can have the best players and still not spend any $ on packs

See all responses 😂
bbrewer23goblue said:if it was such a myth then why dont the top players go NMS?
Because it's easier to compete with the best cards, but most positions there are decent nms options and coins are rly easy to make

I do not buy packs or coins. I make my coins from the market/ah. Proud NMS (and no I do not put it as my team name because that is lame) player currently with a 99 ovr team with all of the best players and over 15 millions (and there are other nms players who have significantly more then me) coins still in the bank. It is very possible to do this, and does not require more then maybe 2-3 hours per week of working the market. You just have to have half a brain and be relatively good at math.
