I predict we get some mid players no one asked for and isn’t popular in the least bit.
luckily I haven’t touched mut since ncaa dropped. I’m running dynasty. It’s a fun time. gameplay has tons of issues but it’s still so Much more engaging and enjoyable compared to mut rpo and glitch blitz every down

I was seriously trying to avoid college football (or any/all EA titles) in the near future, however, the kid just this mr0ning asked if he could get "NCAA" for his birthday, oof. So now i'm seriously debating also grabbing the M25 pre-order via MVP Bundle. I'm already regretting this, but he doesn't ask for much, which is extremely rare for kids.
Never played any prior NCAA releases, but Dynasty mode is where it's at, eh? Hopefully I can casually enjoy that game and not obsess over it liek i've been doing with MUT. No real lure to play CUT, but i'm sure i'll have to try it and will have those 4600 Points burning a hole in my pocket before long.

Especially on heisman difficulty and the cpu slider cracked out. I feel like I’m playing football again and not cheeseball after 10 years of mut

I know of you. I can tell you love the game of football. Get this game- you and your little guy will thank me eternally. M25 though? That’s on you lol

If ncaa is any indication of how m25 will play. You’re fine skipping it. Same broken blocking from line. Weird wr interactions. Crazy sheds. And ai players standing like statues. NCAA is still enjoyable because of the rank goal. added atmosphere of college ball. And my favorite team building/ recruiting. Your kid will have fun and it’ll be great to do together. Worth getting. just avoid the online rat race.

I keep it at all American. Madden has always never actually made the game more difficult with the higher difficulties they just end up making it so your own team sucks and can’t tackle and stuff. Which isn’t more difficult it’s just more broken. Yes no cheese plays all game with vanguard or angry runs is so much better! Still wish the user defense ai would attack the line like the cpu does. line of scrimmage still supet broken like madden.

It’s college players regardless of overall. Gotta remember that- only a few teams irl out of ~150 get quality line play. That’s why there’s an award every year that goes to the best o line unit in the country. Oklahoma actually wins that a lot

A players overall doesn’t excuse the broken programming that ea has had in line blocking since frostbite took over

Agreed. It’s more believable and realistic with college players lol
I‘m not sure why everyone imagines things will be less cheesy after the reset. I’m pretty sure we’ll quickly be back to online gaming against LTD offensive linemen and stretch runs that blow past sluggish user MLB’s when RNG decides that your speed 86 is actually just 81 for that play.
But MUT 24 taught me why MUT 23 played the way it did, and what I can expect from MUT 25. It really didn’t take me very long to get cynical about this game. I’ve made many apologies for EA over the years, because programming AI is super difficult. With the computing power of modern systems some 15 years later, there just isn’t that much of an excuse anymore for us to be where they are. Consistently clueless defenders should never happen. They should at least commit to doing something.

Nothing to worry about with any of that in a dynasty mode! Ai offense only runs some cheese lol. and Yes. even pop Warner kids will react to a ball thrown right at them or a wr running at/by them. It’s awful my 94ovr mlb stands in middle of the field and doesnt move anywhere to at least be in a position to do something.

At this point it's nearly impossible for me to notice anything but all the warts from the ~thousand(s) of hours i've spent in MUT. That's a fantastic summary and review, though -- really appreciate the input. The only other game he's asked for in a minute was NBA2K, so liek one or two titles per year is extremely reasonable for a 5th grader.
I will be avoiding (or attempting to) the online rat race at all costs. But those 4600 Points can't just go to waste. Someday i'm sure i'll spend em.

Thank you, 99% certain we'll be picking up CFB this week. I probably should just order the CFB Standard Edition (instead of both games with MVP bundle), so i won't even have the temptation to dabble with CUT, heh. I'm dying for anything even remotely resembling simulation fatball, but more importantly, it'll give little man a bunch of new game modes to explore.
He seems to have fun building and creating his own player character.

Heads up on player creat in ncaa. It’s limited and basically not available. Apparently something to do with who’s apart of NiL??? So random players can be edited “created” but it’s like 3-7 players per team roster

Yah no need! If anything buy standard ncaa then pick up madden come February at 20$. That’s what i typically do if I decide to get it. Also just after Super Bowl is perfect time to start a build. Good cards are cheap and the best still yet to come out and also only at 96-97ovr players.
