my madden cycle every year

this is how every madden goes for me 

day of launch: what a time to be alive, won’t see grass for a while and watch yt vids on what to do 

first couple of weeks: say to myself this is the best madden I’ve ever played 

october-december: peak of madden

Janurary-march: dies down a little but most of the sweats peak here 

April: goes up a little for Easter promo, may take a break here and there 

April-June: where controllers break and realize how bad this year was 

July-August: only playing for rookie premiere

Yeah. It’s only later in the year when you realize how bad the game has been. It really is addictive. So many times I have wished that I hadn’t spent all that time on madden, or I’m prior years, money. I will probably do it again though. I wish the nfl would stop giving EA their rights...

That’s almost my same exact same cycle.  The days leading up to release I’m watching “ea creator network” videos NONSTOP.  Then at launch I’m on YouTube watching videos borderline as much as I’m playing the game.

For me though peak madden is most feared.  Abilities haven’t ruined the game at that point yet

I feel like I’ll enjoy Madden more next year just because I have a better feel after a full year of how and when I should be spending coins to upgrade, and how better to leverage the Auction House. I made a lot of lineup moves at the wrong time in MUT 24, and I could have gotten much better value along the way.

That said, I feel like I was playing for Rookie Premiere from almost the very beginning. Then Rookie Premiere came in its MUT 24 form instead of as it was in MUT 23, and I was pretty disappointed. I hope I can enjoy Today more in MUT 25, but after too many hours of MUT 24, I also need to enjoy less.
