Gameplay good / game mode bad

So first off, I haven’t played for a couple of years and I have to say the game play feels better than when I left, more towards madden 17 era.

But damn, BNDs, inflated pack prices, this mode is so much of a money grab now, taken all the fun out. I don’t know how long I will continue at this rate.

I mean where is the harm in letting us put them in sets for gods sake.

lol welcome back but yeah the game is far more of a money grab than 17. Last year was my first year working the auction house to grow my coin stack without spending money and they even managed to kill that this year by having price ranges. not to mention they feel way more greedy these days with make rights than they did in the past

Yeah, I get it’s EA and they want money, but when the game is fun people are more likely to spend. I play FIFA aswell and the game mode is so much better, loads more free packs, better pack weight aswell as just being better made. I don’t mind sticking a bit of cash in when I’m having fun but I’m struggling to get the spark back with madden, I was very excited about this year as MUT used to be my favourite game.

The best thing about fifa UT is the cards have proper ratings from the get go.

Sadly they have taken from madden UT all the ridiculous promotions and upgrades being shoved down our throats.

Madden should release players with proper ratings and then do legends drops and team of the week. All at realistic ratings.

But of course won't happen. Because it's all about the dollars. And today's players all want dumb 99 cards.

Back in old fifa UT end of game players would still be at normal ratings. It was about playing the game and not just content drops with over rated players.

And now they have added Evos which are like a good version of power ups, mostly free, where you can upgrade players. The SBCs (sets) are great, and you can get some top players without spending cash. Last two seasons I’ve had Ronaldinho, year before I pulled R9. So much more fun.

Thing is, MUT used to be fun, I loved it. They have ruined it with greed.

And sadly that isn’t even half of how greedy we will see them get. I rejoined halfway through last season and immed Saw all kinds of red flags like this..

 the one I hate the most is when they have an event and to maximize the CP you have to complete the highest set. 
 

or when Xmas rolled around, there were “light it up” tokens that you only got one of without spending real cash on a bundle. So everyone and their mother was required to have sapp + token and if u spent cash to get the other token bang a huge advantage

It’s really sad, and this may be the last time I buy the game tbh. Only came back cos as much as I enjoy playing FIFA, I love my Football and building a Saints team, but it ain’t the same.

I’m playing 100% but not into their hands… I’m a cheap mofo. I got the $90 bundle and will save those pts for the extra $20 until that moment comes up. Other than that NMS boys
