Feels like I can't play any defense lol, always getting beat over the top, even though im not pressing, but somehow my players can't get open. Is it the playbooks? Formations I am running? Any ideas? Just running the base Seahawks playbook.
Shading my coverage inside made a world of difference for me. Before that it was pitch and catch and my defense were just passive observers.

Make sure you get some pass rush going, its very strong at this stage, less time to throw means more mistakes.
Yeah, got my first challenges in last night. Defenders are slow on the ball, and even when the defender is there at the catch, there are almost no knockouts. The run is not hurting me near as much as the short passing game. And I’ve received no meaningful boosts from the pre-order content, except that CMC converted to 108 Training.
I've gotten my butt kicked on defense even while defaulting to inside coverage and it doesn't seem to matter what type of coverage I run at all. I guess man sometimes helps because I can theoretically just sack them before a route gets completed once in a while. Might try going more press or something I guess.
