Why is the auction house so dry?

Are people not playing MUT, staying on college football?

Are people not buying backs, despite the big name players released?

Or are people just simply holding onto their cards?

I was trying to snipe 82 AKA cards, there were like 30 on the auction block on XBOX next gen?

I also notice the snipes do not go quickly, they linger for a few seconds so I get most of the rare ones that appear, where last year, they were instantly gone before I could click on anything

Probably because the game feels dead lol this is by far the most bored I’ve ever been during the first week of launch. There hasn’t been anything to do if you’re NMS. I miss the days when the game released with days and days worth of content and earnable players from solos at launch

this, i literally get on do my dailys, play 1 or 2 h2h games, then just sit on the auction block for maybe 20 mins and get off

Because 90% of the teams in online are $500+ teams running every exploit you can think of. I’m not surprised the game is dying tb.

This for sure.  Look at today's AKA drop.  The only thing to really "play" for this promo are the Challenges, and they only give tokens.  The AKA Pass is 5 items, 2 of which are tokens, 2 small coin amounts, and a crappy 82 OVR BND, and I have to finish 5 different sets to get them all.  The sets are a terrible value, just like they were for the first Legends drop.  I will finish them eventually, but I am not dropping that much coin on an 85 OVR with a shelf life of a week or less, no matter how good the name on the card is.

Theres also not an easy way to get promo cards unless you spend money.

I play on PC and certain positions such as DT and LT are urban legends on the AH at this point. Maybe there's more but I only look at what I actually need.

The amount of teams that are loaded is a joke. Very hard when you have a normal 78ovr team

The access to AKA cards seems really tight. You can't really get much from the pass / challenges and even the bundles are suuuuper stingy. 

$100 for a few 82s and an 85 is just wild, or you can pay 25 and have a chance at ending up with only 3x 78s.

This is what happens when 70% of your consumer base are whales because you have pushed the no money spent or little money spent guys out. Another byproduct is going to be whales versus whales because there's not enough little fish to eat and they're going to get tired of spending all that money and not getting over on the lower teams and they'll eventually stop spending money too. It's a really short-sighted strategy from a business perspective and little to no room for growth.

theres not much incentive to play for nms players until rookie premieres/free champions in promos. the capped auction house really made it hard to upgrade teams and sweating it out vs wallet/glitchers with a 77ovr team isn’t really fun.
