platimum packs

why did they change them to mostly kickers, punters and fullbacks?

Only thing i can think of is they dont want people filling out their squad with platinum rentals anymore.

100%...additionally it keeps the cards resale value at or around the QS value (market flooded with kickers, punters and FBs...and...not really important positions).  I didn't look, but...I don't think there are that many high K, P or FBs...so likely the pulls will be lower ovr...thus...lower QS value.  Worst move they could have made as the platinum packs were the only thing that tempted my wallet....now...not so much.

Yup scummy move yet again by these clowns. Thankfully I already have a platinum/bnd team in place. So focused on screwing nms/budget players instead of fixing the constant bugs/glitches. Definitely skipping next year as things here have gone way downhill.

I actually wanted to give this "new business model" a chance, nearly all "free" content and "rewards" being BND which i noticed in cfb and they clearly carried over to Madden. Another shift was MUCH worse pack offers and odds offset by alot more platinums.

It took them a month between the two games to cancel the small offset of platinums. Theyre SO greedy, SO unethical and SOOOOO lazy. Its sad.

Idk if "mostly" is true. I bought the level 23 bogo with the last of my deluxe pre-order points, and it had 85 mohstert, quinnen Williams, josh Jacobs, Alec ingold, moorestead and Nick folk. So 1 kicker and 1 punter out of 6.

This is something else that people aren't making a big enough deal about. It's just another way to devalue the bundles they sell us. Why do it? Well there's a lot less high OVR K,P,FB than other positions which means a lot less of a chance you hit an 84+ platinum and cash out on the max possible pull. Every year the prices go up and the value proposition goes down a little more. The community doesn't push back enough. And the streamers are in it for themselves so greed wins out.
