Is anyone trying to make a profit off the the legend 85+ set? It costs about 165k to do and 12 out of the 19 cards you can pull of it you can profit off it. I mean not sure what the odds on the 86 and 87s out of it are lol just curious if anyone has tried thanks.
Whoops this was meant for CFB.fan ð€£but if anyone was doing those sets lmk how they went lol

Ha, I've made a princely sum this weekend rolling around mostly AKA sets. Â I've been limited with the number of cards I can post to the auction house already, so kind of slow playing the MUT menus and doing whatever I can to extract the most profit, not in a rush with only a handful of auctions possible in a given day.
MUT markets kind of went crazy as they readjusted to bump in OVR (from 86 to 87). Tons of opportunity to stack some serious coinage.
I only really played CFB to earn the Ultimate Alumni rewards... which STILL haven't been delivered.
Lol thanks I was an idiot anyways those 86 that were selling for more were ltds it definitely is not a profit maker.

Typically the cycle follows something (roughly) along these lines: cards come out, activity is fast and furious, prices are through the roof (initially), but taper off and typically plunge due to the high volume of cards, everyone is competing to make a sale, while building out these sets.
From there, the most popular positions/players/teams will then plateau and even increase in price as the total amount of cards taper off throughout the week. Â So buy those Legends now and sell them from TUES/WED/THURS as the price goes up. Â If the cards are good, potentially best in position, you can almost guarantee their price will go up, as other people slowly catch on to which are truly elite.
New AKA drop is tomorrow, i think -- so be careful out there, but if you are looking to make some coins today, AKA sets are definitely where you'd want to be. Â If you can snipe (or build) those 82 OVR AKA set pieces for around 90k, then turn those into CJ2K (or whatever is most in-demand card at that time) and sell em for ~550k (minus 10% EA tax) there's a little bit of wiggle room for profit.
I started doing this simply because i wanted to actually use the cards on my team to try them out -- but it's difficult to justify spending so much on players that don't have any abilities. Â Turns out, it's also profitable to build a couple/few per day. Â I broke the 6M coin mark this weekend... even after picking up a near rental price Bobby Wagz. Â YMMV, EA hates when we make profit, so proceed with caution. Â DEFINITELY buy a BWagz if you haven't already. Â Almost zero risk with tons of upside potential.
Someone paid me 700K for my "Vintage" CJ2K yesterday, i basically had to sell it at those prices.
