Hey everyone, ex-pro player here...hadn't played for about 2 years before I decided to pick up the game a few days ago.
You used to be able to use the "give cushion" command to individually back off your cbs. Now it only works when you play man coverage.
It was very useful to be able to do this while playing zone, because you could back up your outside cbs in cloud zones while playing c2 to put them in better position to play corner routes.
You could also back them off in a c3/c4 to prevent them from getting burnt over the top, while still having your slot cb/cbs pressed up at the line to give run support or send edge pressure.
Anyone have any clue why they chose to remove this? It had to be intentional, just wondering what EA's reasoning is for removing a useful feature...
