I bought card for 521111 thinking it was 50k so I put it back up for 491111 hoping to try and get my coins back and someone actually bought it. Than received a email today that I was banned.

A year. Madden 26....They wont unban you.
The appeal will take a month or even more than that. Youll get an email saying they are investigating then another saying the appeal was rejected. Then youll go to the EA live chat or call and try to speak to a supervisor and they will keep switching you depertments and putting you on hold etc.
Consider yourself lucky you just free'd up a bunch of time to do something productive :)

Sometimes it is best to take the coin loss and move on. Hopefully the other bad actor suffered a similar consequence.

I did that the other day, spent hours building sets whilst playing the game n in a split sec all profit was lost lol. Ended up eating the lost for this exact reason. Can always make more coins.

Honestly it might be permanent. EA takes forever to “investigate a ban” and usually they just don’t let you play u til next madden. It really sucks sorry bro but that’s EA for you. You might get lucky and get unbanned soon but if not you’re outta luck

Im super confused. What is it against the rules about buying a card for 500k wnd then selling it for 490k? Or am i reading the numbers wrong?
Either way, EA has no business trying to manipulate the market in the first place, all theyve done is further ruin what has become the laughing stock of sports gaming to begin with. Maybe they should fix all the real problems, glitches, missing content etc instead of trying to play communist overlord with the already overinflated market. 🤷

I was unfairly banned in '22 and '24 [buying a card low and selling too high always triggers my bans]. It took 2 weeks for them to respond to my appeal a few weeks ago and my appeal was rejected.
Yeah, I got AH banned from 24 right after 25 came out.
It's all automated and lasts the entire year. Sorry that happened
