They should have sent you an email explaining the cause of the terms blah blah blah and timeline. You can also sign in on EA and look up your bans and opened/closed cases and or dispute. But Ive seen people get warnings after reaching out and speaking with ea help but I've also seen some walk away 7-90 days but if you get let's say a 2 week to 30 days just grind challenges and scrape n claw thru h2h to get coin.... If not then make a new account but they'll always have on file that you their TOS so you'll be on a short leash going forward even on future Maddens
I was banned a little over 2 years ago on M22. Got a warning, and short ban while playing. I went on vacation and was only using the AH to buy low and sell high, bam poof permanent ban for M22.
Now M25 and the first MUT ive played since. We will see how it lasts. I dont do any trickery or cheat. Simply buy from the AH and sell on the AH to gain coins while playing challenges. EA will EA you and they wont overturn. Similar experience as others have stated.

Either way, EA has no business trying to manipulate the market in the first place, all theyve done is further ruin what has become the laughing stock of sports gaming to begin with. Maybe they should fix all the real problems, glitches, missing content etc instead of trying to play communist overlord with the already overinflated market. 🤷
Ik I completely agree. Ea looks at it as coin distribution, they automatically assume you're buying/selling coins because the said card is 10x the price it usually sells for.
Unlikely tbh but the ban won't follow you to the next game
getting banned in the worst auction house year already is kinda insane
EA is only hurting themselves with this stuff. Not too many people playing as it is, banning and alienating more customers? Not the best business model these days ......
I advise using their online chat to work through the ban issue vs. their online form.
I was banned last year for too much flipping to try to get diamond set done. I used their online form process. It didn’t help. Then I used their chat process and person there told me they may have been able to do something but I had exhausted the three attempt limit with the ban appeal.
Only option for me was to play w/o auction house for rest of year or start a new account.
This happened to me last year because of their shitty-ass app redesign (I didn't resell the card, I just took the coin loss) and I still got banned.
I sent a letter to the legal department asking for arbitration and probably a month later I was unbanned. I sent the letter via UPS.
This is exactly what happened to me yesterday, I used the app thought I bought a card for 92111 but actually it was 921111. I reposted for same amount thinking nobody would buy it but it sold and then I got banned a few hours later. I only had 1.2 mil in coins, with 3 weeks of time invested in the game and I spent around $100 on packs along with the deluxe edition. I thought I was fine because it says on the auction screen you can sell the card anywhere between 25k and 950000k. I never bought coins and only play solos and squads. EA is awful, they just stole my game and money, why even allow anyone to sell a card that high if it leads to bans

Hey Beef is there a template I could use for that arbitration letter, I don’t know how to craft one of those?
Good luck in CUT or get the new FC and 2K when it releases.
I don't get your reason? You sold a card for less than you paid ? Doesn't everyone try to do that if possible?
If your teams a high overall and nms you could get targeted for a ban I've read .
Sorry for your luck anyways

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to formally notify you of a dispute regarding my Madden 24 ban on PlayStation 5. I initiated a case (155256940) with help.ea.com and was denied. I have made every effort to resolve this matter amicably and in good faith; however, my attempts have been unsuccessful.
I am a long-time Madden Ultimate Team player and have been using the Madden Companion App for many years. This year, the app underwent a complete overhaul. The dispute arises from the following issue:
September 22, 2023 I was using the newly updated app and accidentally purchased an 88 Bo Jackson for 1,400,000 coins when his average price was approximately 269,000 due to the confusing layout and sorting of the updated app. My recollection of the event was the 1,400,000 price did not render properly and I believed I was buying the item for 140,000 which would have been a good deal for me considering the average price, at the time, being 269,000. You can imagine my distress when I realized the item cost me 1,400,000! My suffering was exacerbated upon learning I had been banned from the auction house.
I believe the preponderance of evidence would show that my account was not involved in coin distribution but that an honest mistake was made by a long-time player. In an effort to resolve this dispute, I propose that my ban be overturned, and my account restored to active status in the auction house.
Please consider this letter as a formal request for dispute resolution in accordance with any applicable contractual agreements, policies, or governing laws. I am open to negotiation and am willing to participate in mediation or arbitration to reach a fair and equitable resolution. Please note that I am NMS and as such unable to pay the administrative fees required to initiate an arbitration.
To facilitate the resolution process, I kindly request that you respond to this notice within 30 days from the date of this letter. I believe that a fair and equitable resolution can be achieved through open communication and negotiation, and I hope that we can work together to resolve this matter promptly. Please contact me at <INSERT EMAIL ADDRESS> to discuss this dispute further and arrange a mutually agreeable resolution.
Best Regards,

Dude thank you so much, they denied my 2nd appeal so it looks like I will be taking this route. I can’t believe the hoops we have to jump through for this ridiculous company, they push a broken product that is never fixed in a timely manner but once they feel monetarily threatened immediate action is taken. And the fact no phone number is available to discuss these bullshit disputes with an actual person feels illegal. Anyway thanks again
Sorry to hear that, but I think they might have done you a favor….the game is so bad this year. Not sure if you spend $$ on the game, but if you do, EA just shot themselves in the foot with a frivolous ban…….Good luck dealing with their “agents” over in India….
