The day before the promo is when its the best. Everything usually crashes on the day it releases bc players want to buy the new cards.

i did that a couple times and made 2.5m coins

Over the last 4-5 years, there have been very few true "market crashes" in MUT; in fact, it's a running joke around MUT.gg and its Discord channel that we've inaccurately predicted almost every potential market crash.  

That said, outside of megaprograms like Team Diamonds that requires unique set pieces that can become quite scarce, in almost every case, the time to sell players is within a day of program release.  Take a look at the Pricing Dashboard in MUT.gg to see how this has played out consistently even this year.

The exception to this involves LTDs.  The general consensus is that LTDs are worth buying below, say, 450k, such that when they leave packs they become increasingly scarce.  That said, beware of special pack offers for high % chances on LTDs (ex: Bobby Wagner Season of Boom LTD).  Supply is just too high to make coin on them.

Selling off before a season change over is also not a bad idea.

You guys have more patience and bandwidth for this than I do. I don’t have the energy to regularly sell off and rebuy my squad. Best I got is incremental position updates. Sold Madabuke for 90k today and copped Dex for 460k. Thats the best I got. And I know it’s not great 😂

The market only crashes very rarely, often at new years and Black Friday seem to be when it truly “crashes“ but that’s a very dangerous game to play cuz you could end up losing a lot

It would have to be something big just sell when you're not playing alot is my belief

Huge market crash is coming Sunday.  I'd sell Saturday before 4pm to be safe.  Once we reset seasons good time to buy back in

Wish I could spend the time to figure how to time the market. I'm in finance and it's almost impossible to do there as well. Kudos to those that can time it correctly, although it's very rare.

This game is horrible the market will never crash because not enough people are playing. This years version is dead on arrival.

The week before we get a boost in overalls. tough to predict early on, but gets easier. you can effectively sell your team a week prior to an overall boost And buy a new team of similar overall and make a couple hundred thousand coins in the process

I second this! I never sell off an entire team thats just dumb to me it's a huge gamble just like investing in LTDs
