If they changed it and people put in the 8 then they should get 3 of them back.

the 8 was called the first edition set.  idk why anyone would want a holo, but those are gone now.

unless the holos come with an extra quicksell value or something like a redeemable NFT, its beyond dumb

Whoa, i started trying to build a set, but that seemed rather steep -- three (or four?) 83-84 OVRs, plus a handful of Campus Heroes 83s?  No thanks, not even to complete the single set requirement for Campus Heroes Field Pass.  Appreciate the timely info, would have totally overlooked this otherwise.
