For offense, i would probably say the Colts are one of the better and easier to use. Almost identical to Eagles offense, which a ton of folks used last year, although the HB Stretch RPO run has been removed and TONS of folks were spamming that last year (M24). However, that being said, i'm probably going to look at the NY J-E-T-S, just for giggles. If you played CFB, the Seahawks offense has a lot of similarities to the popular college offense(s), specifically uhhh Alabama, i think.
Defense it's really personal preference at a certain point. Not a whole heck of a lot of defense this year. Almost everyone has been running Mid Blitz 0, which you can find in a couple formations; Double Mug as well as a more traditional Nickel type scheme. Man is wildly inconsistent, you'll get cooked on corner routes, drags, etc. all day. Zones aren't much better, Hard Flats barely play defense. Corner routes have always been a problem, the reaction time is coded in such a poor manner.
I've been using Raiders defense, as it's familiar to me -- but choose the formation(s) you prefer and then try to match up an appropriate playbook. Nickel 3-3 Penny had some popular blitzes, as well. I believe the 4-3 Even 6-1 stuff was patched, however i think it's still possible to generate almost that exact style of defense from other formations that have not been patched. If nothing else, EA is consistently bad, inept and lazy. What i mean by the "Even 6-1" style defense is that you pinch your D-line, crash everyone inside and watch as four defenders bounce around between three offensive lineman, which often results in FAST disengage and quick sacks in 2-3 seconds. Buggy ass shit.
Sadly, the game isn't really about football knowledge, it's basically just learning what stuff tends to be the most glitchy and using that to exploit any sign of weakness. Good luck, hope something in this rambling comment is useful to you.
