What "potentially" worked well in M24 might not in M25 in regards to DT's X-factors...Just hoping for some advice, Thanks all...

I was going to try this year's Inside Stuff on the freebie Christian Wilkins, as 2 TFL / Sacks didn't seem that difficult to activate, in the grand scheme of things. Typically, i would prioritize any abilities or X-factors that START ON. As always, the best ability is availability. If you can't use these, none of our choices really matter. All that being said, i think i'm going back to boosted, 80 SPD Javon Hargrave (on 20/20 49ers TT + 9/9 Ultimate Preseason) as he seems to get into the backfield much quicker than Wilkins.
That being said, something liek Deep Zone KO on Paul Krause "Center Fielder" FS is probably one of the better X-factors, or Mean Joe Greene has the Double or Nothing that also starts ON. I would lean towards the AKA cards, as not much else is able to be activated at this early stage in the game. YMMV.
It can be difficult to justify the 100 Training on random abilities that may or may not even activate during the course of a game. Let us know what works for you.
Thanks peatrick for the info, it's greatly appreciated...But as a side question, whether the DT's X-factor activates in regards to JUST Wilkins, which X-factor 'potentially" would have the most impact...Again, Thanks
I've thought about the blitz XF ability but it requires "in the zone" to activate..uh, how does that get activated? I have looked everywhere but can't find anything on it .

Assuming all things equal, once activated, it depends. Do you want a premier pass rusher? If so, please try Unstoppable Force. Do you want him to devour opponents in the run game, well then i'd go with Run Stuffer.
I tried Inside Stuff, but wasn't able to activate it, as big Christin was far too slow to get to the QB, my DEs (Micah Parsons & Nick Herbig) would constantly arrive well before he had a chance to get off the double team. Hope that helps, please let me know any follow-up questions, or if things do not make sense. Hard to argue with a free card, but we still want speed, even at DT. Especially at DT, as the majority of pass rush this year tends to come from disengage style blitzes. In prior years i loved having extra thicc big bois to clog up the middle, but doesn't seem to do a whole lot this year. Just my two cents, i know nothing.

fwiw, most people seem to agree with you and my own experiences as an NMS also vindicates your stance. I tried stuff like jonathan allen with some other big guy at DT and while they did well to get free, they were way too slow for it to matter and it was a waste. Speed matters even at the DL, or perhaps even especially so at DL. I would maybe even consider it the most important position this year since it's not like anything else ever gets done on defense.

Agreed -- don't snooze on that free S1 Maxx Crosby (85 SPD, 87 ACC), he's absolutely elite, especially for a freebie card we can earn. I'm still using both Hines Ward and Crosby on my roster, although i shuffle big Maxx around, often playing him at RDT2. There's some budget beasts out there, folks can just search the MUT.gg database and sort by speed (using these position groups; LE, RE, DT).
And i was running a stacked hybrid theme team; 20/20 49ers, 20/20 Jets, 9/9 Ultimate Preseason + 9/9 TOTW2
Have Micah Parsons and Nick Herbig as edge rushers, with Javon Hargrave and Maxx Crosby at DT1/DT2, respectively.
Blitz seems like a good one to try I haven’t tried it yet but in theory it looks effective. Inside stuff if it can be activated is always good although I wish it was a superstar ability and not an XF

I do use Crosby of course. I love him and Ward. CMC is alright, but who even cares about running the ball most of the time, you know? Anyways, there are indeed some budget beasts and a pretty massively textbook budget beast just dropped recently - 80 Mike Danna. I just picked him up but I have a really good feeling about it. I spent maybe 8k or something.
