Been no money spent the entirety of my MUT life until today

I am a huge Jets fan and the NYSE got me as I upgraded my regular madden to Deluxe for the points. I am no longer a MUT points virgin and I have playe MUT since the early madden 12 days with Peyton Hillis on the cover, roast me in here if needed. Thank you that is all!

How did you upgrade regular to deluxe? 

If I go the the playstation store and look at the deluxe version, it's still full price, not just the additional $40 or so

Games supposed to be fun. If that makes it fun for you, that’s terrific.

At the end of the day we're ALL paying for it in one way or another. I have immense respect for anyone able to avoid the gambling bug, especially surrounding these virtual playing cards that EA refuses to term actual cards (because that relates to gambling and the are just fun little surprises for kids, definitely not gambling, riiight?).

That being said, fuck everyone else. You don't owe us, or anybody, except maybe your wife or kids if they're going hungry... any explanation. Can't wait to hear how they play.

I am thinking Blitz and Edge threat to negate any blocker resistance. I have been getting pretty cheeky at my subbing patterns through my packages to negate blocking resitance building up for key moments. I get pretty good pass rush with my four man rush and Dime 3-2 with Mosley Bluff Blitzing as a user,  with my best pass rushers being Hassan Reddick ( I know he isn't technichally a Jets  as of now lmao),  and Quinnnen williams. I will sub in Bryce Huff and Leonard Williams to avoid pass rush resistance to save Q and Reddick for big moments in the game, and will put my bad pass rushers in like Kinlaw, WMD, Sheldon Rankins (more of a run stuff guy with great accel) and Jermaine Johnson  when I throw cover 0 blitzes or rush 5. I havent played anybody that picks up on that tell yet so if you play me online ignore this hahahahhaah

Bit of a long explanation but have 3 elite rushers now that I will be able to get to 90 PWM (I think but I am not sure yet) and it  just gives me a lot more possibilites with blitz clearing out blocking resistance. SInce my subs do work pretty solid as of now I am going to play around with Double or Nothing on Mark as well, as I think I can scheme him super easy sacks in key moments even against elite linemen right now. Excited to see how they will all fit the scheme!!!! How do you run your defense?

I am on XBOX and if you just hover over to the deluxe version it gives you the option to upgrade until tomorrow I think, also it was only like $31-$33 post tax on xbox to upgrade. Not sure if it works for PS

That's great that you are getting the players you want to play with.

Once you get good at MUT market stuff then maybe you can take a stab at the real NYSE lmao

 It is not easy to manage those coins in a way that don’t depreciate. Guessing you are going to just keep the NYSE  players in there, which is fine. Get your moneys worth(first time +favorite players)  I’d say but hear me out. Theyre all going to slowly lose value. Some maybe quickly. 
 

take a look at Paul Krause value. He was a solid 500k last week, now hes 300k.

It all depends on the market for the specific position they play. Krause for example, Sean Taylor came out 6days later, Taylor is much much more popular than krause. THEN the free AKA 86ovr BND token pack is completeable next week, so people are selling off and waiting. His price is about to drop even further because there’s a free Derwin James card coming out this week. 
 

Reason I’m telling you this is $20,$50 $100 in madden will get you lets say
300k coin, 800k, & 1.2mill 

if you bought Gastineau at 600k, Klecko and Ryan’s at 450k .(1.5mill) Depending on the drops, sets, free cards(ie. Derwin James MCS) that 1.5 could be 1mill in a week , easily.

So your $20,$50,$100 is now worth

$12,$33,$65

This is frustrating. You’ve got to either be winning consistently (and a lot) or working the market strategically in a way to where you won’t lose too many coins. 

Or you could just leave them on the team until they’re not worth it anymore, but at this point, they’re not worth anything in MUT and you’ve lost all your investment.

Then when you spend money on a card  - it ends up being low value - story of my life. Are you kidding me! LTD is already selling for under $600,000 - already lost money on the LTD!

II try to play the market, job and life happens so I can't time it perfect but I like to think I win some and I lose some. 

Got a good snipe on Mark at 520k he is a limitied so I that 350k quicksell is clutch on the rental. The games he will win me out weigthts the potential loss in value. I think they will be comparable to Paul Krause, a little cheaper off the gate with a slight rise around Wednesday next week and then a steady linear drop. That is my guess anyways I mostly try to base it off MUT GG price tracker because on the game in the auction house that often. Crazy good tools on here, making the game easier and saving you time so you can actually just play the games hahaha

Bought Marty and Klecko on release date and they were beasts! I did sell them off around 10pm, took the chance on over pricing them a bit with 24 hour timer overnight and it paid off, only lost about 30k-40k because EA's version of Uncle Same lmao I did get about 12-15 games with them so that was nice. Once they stable out and its worth it I will be very happy to find them a permanent home in the line up.  

At this very moment I only have Mark, waiting to see what happens to buy Mary or Klecko as I think the cheapest they will be is Saturday with legends drop and as you mentioned the free AKA. 

I love your break down and it is top tier at putting into words the market and how you should manage it. I am not the best at it yey, not as much as I was when a kid and a demon on the game playing 8 hours a day hahaha so I need all the help I can get. I appreciate all the positivity and support!!!!!

I figured they would be lower just because they aren't huge names outside of Jets fandom.  He is at 550 as of now so not too bad of drop yet.

I feel you bro, these coins are getting harder to get and hold on to than previous years. I could just be getting old and I am not in my gaming prime no more hahaha
