Ok, so I copped a Tony G for 1.2 million when he is 1.4 and isn't out of packs yet. if I sell him now i barely make anything. Do I wait to sell him and hope he goes up or is there a chance he will go down?
TE tends to be a high-volume position for legends and other program cards such that the hot LTD card of today becomes only so hot tomorrow. The latest example was with the David Njoku card, then "The Duke" Vernon Davis, followed quickly by the Bowers and Likely releases. Couple that with the likelihood that we'll get another redux release before the end of the month, and I'd be comfortable selling at $1.4M or so. It's pretty rare for Legends LTDs of any type to hold value that long.

Wait until today (when Cheetah drops) and makes everyone realize how they wanted to run a Chiefs theme team and so they'll basically be forced to pay a Tony G tax to acquire him, although the whole plan would be a bit better if more time had expired between TonyG and Tyreek releases.
But that rough theory typically holds true. However, not every card is going to be best in position. I still think Duke is THE best TE in the entire game, although i'm rather biased as a life-long 49er fanatic.
Basically, your goal is to zig when everyone else is about to zag. If 90% of the community are trying to invest in Tony G, it reduces profitability. The cards that no one is thinking about, or that takes the community a few days to realize are best in position tend to offer the most significant profit. I wouldn't expect to profit 1M+ coins off this whole ordeal, but you should be able to at least pay for the 10% EA tax in addition to the profit you listed above.
The longer you wait, the more potential for profit -- however, you also risk there being a Redux drop, which could potentially force you to take a loss. Be patient, but not too patient. Good luck!

I'm looking to make some type of profit, so assuming that the LTDS go up (they typically do), i am gonna try to sell him when he peaks at around 1.6-1.7 milli. There is no TE's dropping today (I am assuming because one didn't get leaked today), so I guess it's a good sign he will go up before i sell him.

Thank you! Definitely not expecting a milli but a goal is too make nice profit, pretty nice to even make 300-400k. And yes it's true that people with lots of coins will be needing Tony G for that Chiefs offense with Tyreek coming out today thats gonna be with Worthy. With a Full Chiefs TT, Tyreek, Worthy, and Tony G will be 91, 90, and 88 as they're going to be the fastest cards at their position.
idk, the duke is a better card imo and he is going to get a redux very soon, like the card is already staged in game so if gonzo does go up it won't be for more than a week. good luck!
and we are getting an 88 TE on Thursday looks like kincaid or knox
