other than level offers dont spend money in this game and thinking about a 20/20 theme team just to boost some DBs and wondering if its practical/worth it especially without having all my BNDs fitting the chem
Sure...it is not as good as it used to be...but with all the Team Captains, RPs (if you have them) and Season 1 players that get all team chems getting to 20 is easy...so +1 speed is not game changing...but it beats not having it.
its so easy to have 20/20 theres no reason not too, I’ve switched mine up a few times

Washington/AZ
now Miami/Lions
Even though they absolutely neutered it with the 20/20 move I still think it’s the way unless you’re trying to be a compet meta player. Most of the fun for me is building up a team with favorites/legends from across timelines. I’m going Vikes/Ravens (PurpleReign) and filling in holes however I please (phrasing).
The biggest advantage of TT’s is it helps provide some direction and purpose. You’re not always chasing the next shiny thing, you’re looking for what fits your theme. This is exactly why EA neutered it and bastardized the pro player concept of theme teams into the pro payer concept of “program themes”.
Honestly, it’s kind of funny they still keep things around like 32 team chems/team builders given the change and obvious intents. It’s like giving your ex wife a gift on your new wife’s birthday.
