Yeah I feel the same way.  Someone else said it... the MCS players use these glitches and exploits to get an advantage over other MCS players.  They don't need them to beat regular players.  

I think people don't appreciate how much time these guys put into the game.  There are high end skills that many of us don't really appreciate.  They've mastered all the game mechanics.  They understand the popular offensive and defensive schemes and have labbed ways to counter them.  They know all the typical formations and audibles.  Most have exceptional clock management skills.  

You might score against the best players on your first couple of drives but they are incredible at adapting... figuring out what you are doing and then on the fly developing a way to stop or counter it.  KMac has been streaming alot of ranked games the past few days as he was making the push for top 100.  He went down in more than a few games... sometimes by two TDs.  Yet he has such confidence that he is figuring out his opponent's scheme and then he takes it away and comes back to win.  Dubby is another streamer that I watch while I'm playing... and he's also really good at adapting.  I'm sure most of the "pros" are really good at this.

Bro, you can watch Dubby? Dude makes me cringe. To his credit he's been around a while now. When I played more comp., guys like Problem were who I watched. The thing about the players who spend the bulk of their time on the game is that they know how the AI reacts in almost every situation . It's not so much football knowledge as it is AI/coding knowledge. Which is why I don't play comp anymore. It's not really a football game anymore at that level. I just play football games to enjoy football and Madden has become less and less a sim every year.

Yeah couldn’t say it better myself. they also have hours upon hours of time to play, (Something I defi don’t have) 🤣

Dubby can be cringey but he also makes me laugh at times.  
 

…and yes I completely agree it’s not football knowledge they have accumulated.  It’s how the game is programmed and how it can be manipulated/exploited.  
 

i think my preference of Streamers are Mayz then Kmac then Dubby.  Mayz isn’t as good at the game compared to the others but he’s consistently entertaining.  KMac and Dubby are probably not in the top 10 but they are definitely top 100 and are far more entertaining than most of the top players who stream yet have no personality.  The guy that makes me cringe is Throne although he’s not as bad as he used to be.

defensively, its formation/route recognition and knowing what your opponent is gonna do before they do it and then effectively using switch stick. 
 

There is no “how to guide” for these things. 

I see your cod argument and agree some, madden does take some prerequisit knowledge of the games defects to be good so its not all stick skill, but there’s still a lot of skill involved. especially with usering on defense

I've beaten multiple people who have the mut champs players, that are complete bums. They are running  the same meta cheese everyone else is. But I can counter it the first play of the game, because I've seen it the last 5 straight. And they have no answer.

These fools are 100% following a step by step guide for play calling, and winning at least 16 out of 20 games with no skill. You think that's a good state of the game?

That's like asking someone in the military to scale down their weaponry and armor to match up fairly with the grunts on the other side of the line. Not going to happen. Lmao what is out glitching your opponent? if you consider running bunch and double mug “glitching” than you should find a new game. It’s been like this for years. You can counter anything in the game right now, nothing is overpowered. it’s just a matter of finding out how to beat certain things.

I never said state of the game was good, state of the game is terrible. It's not terrible because of a mid blitz meta, and the entire community running bunch offset. It's terrible because the ball phases through my db and ends up giving up a touchdown, or my opponent throws into triple coverage and I get 2 swat animations. It's terrible because running the ball is not really an option outside of maybe 5 times a game. It's awful because I get magnetized into a "BOOM" hit stick from 3 yards away. It's awful because pack's aren't a viable option for team building. 

Yes, most people that pull an offense off of youtube with no understanding behind it usually suck at the game as soon as you stop them because they don't understand how to adjust.

Summary: It's not about how people play the game, but if the gameplay itself is good. thats what makes a good game, and this is a terrible game, but everyone is complaining about the wrong stuff
