Why is this community ok with cheating and exploits?

You shouldn't have to worry about someone glitching through your line every play with a 4 man rush, plain and simple.  Glitches and exploits are not skill.

And yeah, how many people would be stem glitching if they knew you could get banned for it?  It literally says in the TOS that glitching/abusing exploits is not allowed.  If EA would take a tougher stand on cheaters there would not be an issue.

What was ur tag? you said you retired in 2018 but the MCS only had existed for a year before you retired so how tf did u rack up all those accolades? For most of the time it was clubs and ladders werent even a thing? unless youre name is problem, moe, dubby, or skimbo, youre lying your ass off lmao

Using good route combos to create spacing out of tight formations isn't a glitch, that's football. An a-gap blitz and mid blitz has a blocking setup you can use to deter people from doing it. Learn to play the game and stop whining.

If someone comes out and audibles from gun to singleback to get a direct snap to a WR or have their qb start waltzing downfield to cause offsides penalties. THATS A GLITCH, the content creators use their followers and inside sources at EA to get them patched. Maybe people should get banned, but if someone is a loser quit the game and let them be a loser and move on.

No complaints about good route combos out of tight formations.  I actually run a lot of Bunch Offset, and can explain the legitimate reasons it is so effective.

My issue is what's the difference between glitches like you describe, and things like the double mug which glitch someone through the a-gap?

I shouldn't have to do some convoluted blocking setup, or block a RB/TE to pick up a 4 man pressure.  The blocking adjustments which supposedly pick up double mug are inconsistent at best.

I remember there was a FG block glitch a few years back, where you could get someone to shoot through the line and consistently block kicks.  Just about everyone agreed it was wrong, it was banned from online ladders, and I remember people getting reported for using it.  So it's not okay when you glitch someone through the line to block fgs, but to get sacks it's fine?  Interesting logic.

Yeah when people were using the route stem glitch I refused to do it, even though I knew how.  

Didn't seem right to cheat even though others were doing it.

2nd - Yes, the double a gap shouldnt function the way it does which you have just made my point about the mechanics of the game that EA has messed up + failed to patch twice now in this case alone. Have you heard of 'two things can be true' ? It applies in this case. The reason Mid Blitz comes in the way it does could be considered a glitch, yes. The fact that there's A a working blocking setup to negate that and a ton of other setups on offense to beat it, makes it a skill issue not a unbeatable "glitch" or even "cheat". 

3rd - Again you're making my point. You want EA to ban people for applying the broken mechanics that they didn't care about building right in. the first place and haven't been able to fix with two patches instead of asking for a game that's cleaned up to the point where Mid Blitz wouldn't be a talking point. Do you still not get how silly it sounds to ask for EA to apply their TOS for glitches and 'abuses' on in game mechanics that THEY have messed up?  

If you're a pro, why are you so wound up about the whole thing anyway ? You of all people should know that most people who get their Mid Blitz beat 2-3 times quit anyway.
I'm happy to face dummies who come out in it every play. 
Looking at your investment in this topic, even projecting people are talking to you specifically, this appears very consuming to you - might want to talk a step back and relax a little because as others mentioned, It's a game.

I made a post saying glitches that can't be fixed immediately should be banned, and you said anyone wanting for things to be banned has a "skill issue".  Not sure who else you would be talking to.

It literally says in the TOS and MCS rules that exploiting/glitching is not allowed.  

Why is it wrong to want EA to actually enforce the TOS/tournament rules?

Yeah, pretty much.  

Funniest part for me was when I was at tournaments, and some of the other pros would argue with me saying that exploiting/glitching the game is skill because it takes time to learn how to do so in practice mode.  

Yeah, I guess it takes some skill to figure out how to glitch things...but it literally takes none to do something like run the double mug and crash your line down.  

Kind of reminds me of old video games where you could press a series of buttons to enable a cheat...you just have people doing it in online play/tournaments in Madden, which is ridiculous.

as I agree with what you’re saying that the stem route was pretty bad. The problem is that this is going to be in the game pretty much all year and it ruins the entire experience for someone who say has gone the money direction in the game  through the marketplace, or someone who is invested their time with the challenges

Yeah glitches/exploits have no place in Madden.

EA actually implemented "nano-detection" in the game a few years back, where if someone glitched through the line, they would freeze in place for a few seconds.  After that, they actually fixed interior o-line play so we didn't see a-gap nanos for a few years.

Just wondering why something they have already fixed/addressed in past games has all of a sudden become an issue again, and why they are enabling players to cheat online and in tournaments.

What kind of “cheating“ are you even talking about? Running a specific defense is not cheating. There are down sides to every defense right now.

I just went by "DJONES", and I'm definitely not making things up.

I was the #1 player on the ladders for the 1st 3 seasons of the MCS.  That was when the ladders lasted a couple of months instead of only 4 days.  

I was making just about every live event, and also made an MCS finals which I honestly could have won if not for a glitch causing my QB to freeze and go unresponsive.

Ask any of the players you mentioned if they know me and if I'm lying, I have met them all at tournaments.  Or you can probably find some of my games on YouTube l, try searching for DJONES vs Problem or DJONES vs spotme.

Mostly referring to the nickel double mug, which glitches someone through the a-gap.  Also somewhat referring to the route-stem glitch, which was actually allowed in the MCS ladders for a time earlier this year.

EA regularly releases patches or changes, only to eventually revert most (if not all) of their latest bug fixes, etc. However, I think it's safe to assume whenever they revert the state of the game, they're inevitably reintroducing all these prior bugs and glitches. This is how we continue to see the same tired stuff, year in and year out.

There's not a single, skilled Product Manager at EA Orlando / Tiburon. Might as well be a clown show... but nobody cares, because the dollars keep rolling in as long as they slap the NFL shield on things.
