Is anyone really going to play 72 H2H games/solo battles to get 4 energy cells?

I would love to know this as well.

If they stay at whatever OVR they are are 88, I'd rather spend the tokens to upgrade BOTH to as close to 88 OVR as possible rather than one to 95. I don't plan on doing the set, and don't plan on purchasing any packs for these. I'd rather have 2 88 OVRs for the long run, than one 95 for 2 weeks, and then only one 88 for the long term.

That's what I want to know. For me to upgrade Goedert to a 95 OVR without doing the 72 wins, I'll have to do the cell set all 4 times, max out the field pass and buy another Energy bundle from the store.

i dont think people are going to grind it out, maybe like 10 total will, but i think a lot of people will naturally play and win 72 games over 2 weeks
